Lol. Great stuff! It is weird seeing myself in the story but I'm glad you let him participate. If only Max really helped me start I could have saved myself 5 years of trial and error.  I'll subscribe to see what's in store for him

Mr. Payne in a New Light

Carl decided to put Max's advice into good use. At the time, they did not have enough money to buy a computer, so Carl 'borrowed' one. Hey, J.K. Rowling wrote 'Philosopher's Stone' in a cafe. Carl can write 'Carl's Sims 3 Guide 1.0' in a library.



Max and Rabbit were the first people to socialize with somebody other than their roommate. If by socialize, you mean beat up with a pillow.



Antone and Leo joined Diana and Europa in their video gaming. Rabbit went outside to play hopscotch with the paparazzi. (Both Max and Carl are now celebrities.)



Mr. Payne: What's this for?
Max: Well, you're kind of old, and we're not. I just wanted to keep you around for a while.
Mr. Payne: I appreciate that, Max. How's your wife, Pippa?
Max: Who?



Max left to join Rabbit in hopscotch, leaving Mr. Payne with his gift.



Mr. Payne: Why am I sparkling?



Mr. Payne: I'm young! Amazing! Check it out, people! People?



Antone: Did something just happen?
Leo: Yeah, I feel like I should care about something.
Diana: Stop chattering and start playing!

That's Mr Payne at a younger age?!  I would never have recognized him!  Interesting how Mr Payne is now choosing to dress like Carl.  I wonder what to make of that ...

I didn't even notice that he was dressing like Carl. I just wanted something semi-formal, but not identical to his old outfit. I'm unsure as to whether I'll keep him young.

Leo: You know, I think I liked the old you better.
Mr. Payne: Why is that, Leo?
Leo: I just think it's kind of odd seeing you, well, young!
Mr. Payne: Just because you've never seen me young before, Leo, doesn't mean-
Leo: Calm down, old guy. If you say more, you'd give away plot details.
Mr. Payne: *grumble*



Mr. Payne: There, I'm old again. Are you happy?
Leo: You know I'm never happy, old guy.



Europa: A little to the left, Max.
Max: Why?
Europa: Just wanted to see the handsome man on the TV better.



Denied!



Everybody decided to stop what they were doing to come eat, even Carl. (He autonomously stopped writing to come home and eat.)

And the first day concludes with re-painted bedrooms.







Max and Carl's bedroom remains gray and boring.
