Sofia Carlton Bug? (Or maybe Consignment Specialist Bug)

Is there a known bug with either Sofia Carlton or the Consignment Specialists. I've played two games, and in neither game could I socialize with Sofia Carlton without getting a negative reaction. I don't know if the problem is Sofia herself, or if it's the fact that she's the consignment specialist. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I'm betting that the consignment store part is the bug.

Okay, thank you. I'll just have to find some other rich Sim in Twinbrook to be a friend of my Founder. Unless there's a way to get Sofia to quit her job, but I do not think there is.

I think I found that there are many sims in Twinbrook that have a Marguret Vaguester in their inventory. Or at least a couple out of the few I've forced into the household

I could be wrong, but I think Sofia Carlton has bad traits that don't go well with making friends.  I doubt it's a Consignment Shop bug.

Her traits are:
Great kisser, dislikes children, schmoozer, snob and lucky.

I don't think that those are all bad traits for socializing.

Only once I tried playing in Twinbrook and on first day I got my Sim married with Sofia (her LTW is completed once you sold her car so she is a great material for a dynasty spouse). So keep complimenting her, snobs can give you a couple of negative responses.

In my old game, Sofia the consignment clerk wouldn't let me by anything so my sim Bradley had to go on a trip to France just to get nectar. Luckily, Sofia quit and now the clerk is Shark Racket

Old thread, but the simple answer to Audren's problem is that Sofia was being disagreeable because she dislikes children. Sims who dislike children have a negative response to most interactions until you get to be friends with them. However, she should still be able to sell you things as a consignment worker. That's different.

Sofia actually can be befriended if you go straight to romantic interactions and compliment her personality/appearance. She's a snob, so compliments win her over! The normal "Chat" interaction works with sims who dislike children too.

Really? I didn't realize that Sims who dislike children were so disagreeable. Good to know for the future. If I had gone straight to romance, I might've gotten my original Dynasty spouse. That's okay, though, since I was able to discover that greatness that is Julienne Knack. So, it all worked out in the end.
