Where or how can I get Martial arts equipment?

Eva had already been to China the first time and got her kick post and board breaker thing before I installed the sunset 3 with the clubs.  I saved lots of things to the 'family inventory' and was sure I'd saved them too.... having installed Eva in the Sunset 3 version I now do not have them anywhere and her travel has reset... but she hasn't been the opportunity to go do the same thing she did first time... and her martial arts skill is still level 4 so I guess she won't.  I did have her try the market in China.. and Langraab bring n buy..

Does anyone know where or how I can get these please?

You can get them in Buydebug.  Type "buydebug" (without the quotes) in to the Cheat panel.  You will see a new category of items in Buy mode identified with a Question Mark, and you will find martial arts equipment and other goodies there.  I use this a lot since I started getting hit with travel bugs.

I've not tried using that yet, but I did write out the instructions for it so now I have a good reason to try it hahaha

First type in testing cheats enabled true for buy debug to work. There is a nice car in buy debug

Nice car sounds cool but I may leave that for a little while because I'm loving loving loving the motorbike...the laid back style [rarely seen in UK] in purple.  It has a real cool engine sound I love too.

That definatly IS a cool car    but I'll wait til I'm fed up of the motorbike and until Eva has boosted her funds somewhat as I've spent rather a lot this weekend hehehe.  Only problem now is I want HER home for my own

If you want the equipment without using cheats, you can purchase it at the General Store in China.  You said you've tried the market in China, but where specifically did you look?  The General Store is one level up from the Cafe, Relics Merchant, and Bookstore.  You can purchase the equipment there at any time through game.

I think the issue with not getting them in China is that they aren't appearing in the Family Inventory when returning home:

Ok, I see.  Thanks for clarifying, Seabody.  I've actually had that happen myself and I used Buydebug to get them.

That issue was supposed to be fixed in the last patch.  Did it happen before or after the last patch?

My understanding is the problem is not returning from China, it's from moving a sims from one town to another. Eva said her sim Eva went to China BEFORE she installed Sunset 3 and moved her there. Family inventories don't follow moves; only personal inventories.

That hasn't been my experience.  I've had things in the family inventory survive a move to another town.  Last time I did this was about 2 months ago or so.

It was the household.  The only thing in the family inventory, in the example I'm thinking of, was the fridge from the Culinary career, and I was very glad it survived the trip.
