For security, the front door is situation around the side of the house, providing ample time to discover who will be knocking at your door.

Building Contest 4 –  A Rundown Starter

Your Task:
    To build a starter home that would fit perfectly along a rundown street.

Specifications:

• Minimum number of Beds: for 2 Sims (Do not add any Sims)
• Budget: $18,500, you don't have to spend it all.
• Lot Size: 20x20 only

Optional Specifications:

• Think dirty, poor, cheap appliances, peeling paint, dying landscaping, etc.

I have a huge project on my plate so I won't comment on everyone's builds directly.  Let me just say Agneza your love story topped us all and the house was amazingly grungy.  Perfect and it shows.  Congratulations on the win.
All the rest of us did a super job on this fun build to congratulations to you all.  There wasn't one house that wasn't terrific, each in it's own way.

I am open to comments. This will probably be the only time that a builder will be pleased to hear how bad their house looked. I will add comments in the morning as it is silly o clock in the morning here in the UK.

I'm going to go the same direction as Sportsfan and say: I'll never live in any of these houses, and I wouldn't touch Agneza's with a nine foot barge pole. Yes, that's a compliment.

Honestly, I think all these houses captured the spirit of the challenge now, and that just put an idea in my head.

Congratulations Agneza! Yours definitely looked the worst! Never thought I'd say that...

@ratchie, your shack was beautiful (in a rundown way). I really liked the privacy of having a gate. Your couch idea was a really good one. The only thing that looked odd was that the outdoor wasn't a rundown look to me.

@Schipperke Really rundown house. Only problem was that some areas didn't fit the theme. Everything else was really rundown.
