Bedrooms:  2
Bathrooms:  1
Lot Size:  20 x 20
Content:  All SPs and EPs except Late Night.  Also sand from Buydebug

Description:  Do you aspire to be a slumlord?  This squalid shack is just what you need to get started.

View from the street showing mature landscaping (dead is very mature):

Of course, every slum shack worthy of the name needs at least one junker rusting away in the weeds.  To save your tenants the trouble of waiting for their old car to rust, we at Schipperke's Slum Builders are proud to supply our patented pre-rusted jalopy, along with a lifetime supply of bald tires:

Overhead view:

Here you have the elegant master bedroom - what?  the red stains on the floor near the bed?  Probably just a reflection of the bedspread.  Now, where were we?

Bathroom, Baby's room, and laundry room:

The large family kitchen, with indoor clothes rack for those rainy days.  Yes, yes, I know it doesn't rain in Sims3.  Don't confuse me!

The luxurious living room:

Lot Name:Shack Attack.
Lot Size:20 by 20
Furnished:15,465.
Unfurnished:11,518.
Sp and Eps:Lets say all of them.

Slumlord properties offers to the market this delightful one bed one bath home. We at the slumlord properties like to think of this little home as a fixer up. It needs a labour of love and we are sure that a Sim somewhere will fall in love with this stunning home.

The entrance to the property.

For security purposes the dwelling includes a gate.It does not however include a fence.

The front of the property boasts a beautifully landscaped garden.Beautiful so long as you like brambles and weeds.

The kitchen is fully modernized with fully equipped sink and washing machine.(Sink comes with free faucet)

The living area boasts a state of the art television and beautiful coach. Rumors that the couch was put together using two different couches is totally unfounded.

The dinning area is well situated next to the toilet.

The bathroom has all modern conveniences and even includes a fully flushing(most of the time)toilet.

The bedroom is all ready and waiting for the Sim wanting to start a family.

To the rear of the property is a delightful BBQ area to entertain your guests.

For the children in your life there is a playing area. Please note that Slumlord Properties is in now way shape or form responsible for any injuries suffered whilst playing on the see-saw.

All in all you will agree that this a beautiful home for the up and coming Sim on a tight budget.

The Inventors Cabin

Lot Size: 20x20
Price: 16,816 furnished, 9,795 unfurnished
Description:  This property has recently become available in an upcoming area of Sunset Valley.  The property came onto the market after elusive inventor, Doctor Everett Scott, had a mishap with a Time Machine - not to worry, the Time Machine has been removed from the property to Landgraab Industries Science Facility for further testing on how Doctor Scott was able to travel through time and hopefully locate him.
Content:  Base (duh!) Amb, WA, LN and Gen.  Free content from the store includes Eco Pack, Harvest Bounty and Eye of the Bolder ‘10

You can see from the front of the house that it has a lot of potential.  There is extensive landscaping opportunities for those of you who have a green thumb.  And please don't worry about the caution barriers, we have been assured that the house is structurally sound, just a bit wobbly from the explosions.

The house its self is in need of a bit of TLC (when we say TLC, we mean DIY for all you DIY enthusiasts).  As unfortunately the last remaining relative of Doctor Scott is currently in Hawaii dealing with his grief whilst sitting on a beach in a grass skirt drinking nectar from a coconut.  He was over heard instructing the family lawyer and I quote 'I don't care what you do with it!' as he walked out of the office suitcase and inheritance cheque in hand.

The living area - as you can see Doctor Scott was a highly thought of inventor and he won numerous awards in his time.

Kitchen/Dining room

Bathroom

Floor Plan

Now we come to the most interesting room in the house.  Interesting as it is the only room that is not decaying in need of decorating.  It is thought that the lady in the painting is the lost love of Doctor Scott and this is the reason behind why he wanted to travel through time, to find her again.  I like to think that he did find her and that is why he never came back.  Or it could be that he preferred the comfort of his thinking couch located just outside next to Doctor Scott's attempt at creating life - in my office he is know as Bob (sorry inside joke).

Lot:  20x20

Contents:  Base game only

Description:

Well, hello there!  Interested in some prime property at a more than reasonable price?  Have we got the home for you!  Let's go take a tour of it, shall we?

First of you will notice our patented and highly prized all purpose security system surrounding the home.  Guaranteed to keep those kiddies from esca.......uh......shirking their chores and homework.  Mold?.....Oh, no!  That's the new, olde Uropeeon  brickwork.  Like Seattle grunge only our very own style.

Let's step inside shall we?  I notice you've already noticed the landscaping.  Not to lose that wonderful touch we've actually allowed some of it to come inside.  You know, bringing the outside, inside?  At least in some rooms like this wonderful master bedroom.  En suite, you know!

And walking through here we see the attached bath and laundry room.  So convenient!

You'll notice how traffic flows nicely from room to room.  Now we enter the kitchen/dining/sitting area and even more of that lovely inside out landscaping!

The kitchen is the heart of any home, so we've updated it by adding another sink.  Not seen at the moment but it will be there when you purchase so this kitchen is fully equipped.

Yes, there is a children's room!  You'll notice it is large enough for two or even more kiddies!

Oh, and here is the total layout of this wonderful, bargain priced home!  Notice there is a pond, free tires for your vehicle AND a swing for the little ones!  Patented laundry dryer as well.  What more could you ask for?

What?  Well, no need to get insulting!  Holes in the floors with weeds growing through indeed!  You're the one without a job after all.  Uh......I mean.....I know you'll want to snap up this gem right away!   Wait!  ......   Come back!.....Hmmm, maybe I need to work on my presentation a bit...

May be downloaded from the Swap Shop.

Entry Name: Rusty Retreat
Furnished Price on 20 x 20 Lot: $17,803
2 Bedrooms, 1 Bathroom
It contains content from (possibly) all expansions except World Adventures, plus FL and TL SPs.

Rusty Retreat is the perfect place for the low-maintenance Sim who just wants to get away from it all. Literally. That dirt road goes on for hours before you'll find anything close to civilization. Featuring sporadic electricity and occasionally heated water, its a bargain at only $17,803!

Several of the plants in the large yard are still living, and it includes a state of the art garbage disposal unit just a minute's walk from the front door!

The backyard patio area boasts a BBQ grill and a wide variety of seating options. There is a large garden shed for storage of tools, as well as a year's supply of insulation for your home!

There is a small pond in the back yard, useful for washing clothes, bathing, and catching dinner.

The combined kitchen and living room offers a cozy area to spend time with family and friends. The TV is probably older than you are, but at least you can put things on top of it, unlike those silly flat-screen ones. Two of the elements on the stove are fully functional, and the fridge door is still on it's hinges!

The bathroom is quite spacious, and houses the washing machine. Lifetime supply of disinfectant wipes included.

The Master Bedroom at the back of the house has a wonderful King size bed, supported by old milk crates as most of the springs have snapped. Who need springs anyway?

The second bedroom is perfect for a child or room mate. Tetanus vaccine required.

House: Haggard Hopes

Lot Size: 20x20
Bedrooms: 1
Bathrooms: 1
Furnished Cost: $17,028
Items: WA, AMB, LN, GEN. No SPs or Store content.

Yellow Lily Realty & Construction would like to present our rare find of a 1bedroom, 1bath in-the-heart-of-the-woods delight of a home. This home was originally just a small one room shack with an outhouse across the yard. Over the course of past ownerships, a bedroom was added for extra privacy and a bit more space. Time and Mother Nature have not been kind to this back-to-nature home but it would be the perfect place for a young couple to start fresh, and get their hands dirty with a few DIY projects. A little elbow grease and lots of TLC will have this charming home restored to it's previous glory, a small oasis in the forest, set apart from the noise and crowds of the city.

As you walk up to the front of the house, you will notice that the foundations and walls of the buildings are still sound and in good repair. There is plenty of yard space for a garden, pool, patio party area, or whatever your heart dreams of.

The location of the front door around the corner of the main building shields it from the elements creating a safe and quiet atmosphere. The front deck has been extended to the door of the bedroom on the left so there is no need to climb down and up any stairs before you have that first cup of coffee in the morning. And you can grab the morning paper on your way by.

Please accept this complimentary copy of the floor plan for this 3-piece home. The front door leads directly into the open-concept living/kitchen/dining area, the bedroom is connected to this building via the front porch, and the bathroom is just a few feet away across the yard.

The Kitchen is compact and efficient, including all the necessary appliances and plenty of cupboard/counter space. Why does the stove appear be be charred? Well, the local rumours talk of an unfortunate accident involving a former owner, the stove, and a pot of Mac and Cheese. The stove is in working condition and a complete fire safety inspection has been done of this property. The living space has plenty of room for a dining table, couches, TV, and bookshelf, as you can see. No this is not the original floor, these planks were put in during the renovation that added the bedroom across the front porch and can even be found in the bathroom.

The bedroom has plenty of windows to let the sunlight stream in, and it's spacious enough for a double bed and chest of drawers. Why does the blanket look like plastic? Well, a frugal previous owner found this large piece of blue tarpaulin at the junk yard and decided it would make a great spread for the bed. It may have provided the added bonus of keeping the sleeping Sim dry during the rainy days. We have been unable to confirm if the roof leaks as it seems as every day since we found this property has been sunny and the weather forecast is for much the same for the indefinite future.

Now if you'll follow me across the yard I will show you the charming, compact, complete full bathroom. What was originally just big enough for a toilet has been renovated and expanded into a full bath with an included washing machine. The clothes line is just outside and is the perfect way to get that clean fresh scent everyone craves. The plumbing has all been tested and checked, all is in working order. The toilet, being one of the oldest pieces on this property, has a personality and requires patience from time to time.

Thank you for coming out to see this property with potential! If you wish to purchase it please visit the Haggard Hopes page of our corner of the Swap Shop.

And those rumours involving the stove? Police have determined there is no connection between the fire and the sudden disappearance of the property's owner. Also, the talk about a body on the premises is completely false, our crew has been over this place with a fine tooth comb. Well, except for under the bathroom, we understand it used to function as a hole-in-the-ground toilet and have no desire to crawl under there.

House Name: Love Lost (2br, 1ba)
Furnished Price: 17,697
Unfurnished Price: 14,089
Lot Size: 20x20
Description: Many years ago this was the home of a young couple and their child. As time passed, the couple aged and the child left. After the couple passed on, the house was abandoned and forgotten. Will it ever find a new family to revive the magic?

Content: Base, Ambitions, Generations, Late Night, Outdoor Living Stuff

Pictures with annotation:
Love Lost is an abandoned home with a past.

It's a very tight house that hasn't seen any frills or personal items in a very long time.

After entering, immediately to the left, you'll find the bathroom. It has plenty of space, but you may just need to replace the stained tub, sink and toilet and a few broken floor tiles.

Across the hall from the bathroom is the second bedroom, a small room just begging for the love of a child.

Further down the hall is the master bedroom, with antique bed and handmade quilt still in tact and a door that leads to the back porch.

Then we come to the quaint kitchen that just needs some elbow grease and personal touches.

Through a door just off the kitchen, lies the sun room. It offers a nice place to sit and enjoy the view (whether that's a sea side view or a nice view of the neighborhood).

And finally, one of the few personal items still left from the previous owners: a love seat on the tiny back porch. Bring a lover and enjoy the closeness of a love seat that's seen more years than the both of you together.

P.S. Now let's hope I did this all correctly as it's my third post to these forums. xD
