Dreamweaver Townie DecaDynasty - Chapter 94: Bad, Bad News

I just have to ask one thing: How on earth do you keep track of who's who and who's completed what and how and just, wow. I'm in awe of the way you keep track of the family and all the kids and cousins and spares.

For the official challenge part of the game, I use the spreadsheet that's linked in the rules on the first page of the Townie DecaDynasty thread.  For the relationships of the extended family, I use Family Echo.  As long as I add family members when they appear, I can keep up with all of them.

Sorry if this is a frivolous comment but I was looking at the cat family tree and I saw the sisters Pippa and Duchess. Is there an English Monarchy theme going on there?

Yes, actually there is.  They were the only two kittens in that litter and both females, so I wanted a sister theme.  None really suited me until I thought of Duchess and Pippa!  You're the first person to comment on it.

Chapter 82 - Kitties and Wishes

Dove had a great birthday party and aged up to teen.  I love that expression on her face, but the hair’s got to go.  And the outfit.  Dove’s new trait is Natural Born Performer.





With some changes, she’s a glorious teenager.









The guests of the birthday parties now include the younger generation Dreamweavers.  Dove’s great-grandfather Dean was there.  With Lollipop already gone, I don’t expect him to be around much longer.  He isn’t gifted with the aging bug like so many of the others are and will probably die on schedule.





Look at George’s father, Marcos!  He’s been getting on the treadmill so he’ll make a proper Rock Star.  I think he looks pretty good.  He and Leanna are both in the Swap Shop now.





Dove has a close friendship with Chase Spelzig, but has no desire to make it anything more than that.  No wishes for kisses or dates or anything.  I’m not sure I want to force it for her, in spite of his less-than-wonderful traits.  They spend a lot of time together, both in person and on the phone.







She got her bedroom updated, too.  No more nursery/child’s room for her. 





Dove’s prom came early.  She didn’t have a date, but that didn’t stop her from taking the limo to the school for the dance.  The poor thing was having a mood swing that day and her prom wasn’t a good experience.  She gathered her courage to ask the fellow she has a crush on to dance and he turned her down flat.  She saw a lone boy off by himself and felt bad for him, so she asked him to dance.  He threw his drink on her!  Then the final insult was when she saw another girl wearing her same dress and they got into a fight over it.  So many negative moodlets.  There was a bright side, though.  She begged her classmates to make her Prom Queen and they did.  Maybe they felt so bad for her that they gave it to her out of sympathy.  Either way, she’s got the crown in her bedroom.



You’ve already met Baxtor, Dove’s new kitten.  She’s got the Cat Person trait, of course, and she uses it!  You can probably guess that I want her to be a performer for both her career and her Lifetime Wish.  This girl has gotten no less than five wishes for a Lifetime Wish.  She’s wanted to do everything associated to animals and cats, plus a painting/guitar one, and I don’t know what else.  She WILL be a performer!  But she sure loves the kitties.









Speaking of Lifetime Wishes, there’s been a slew of them being reached in the household.  Marcos made it to Rock Star and has already had an autograph session.  Those are always fun.



Leanna went past her Creature-Robot Cross Breeder wish and left her job after becoming a Mad Scientist.  And George became an International Super Spy.  He promptly quit his job, too.  All that questioning and writing reports was wearing him down.  Now with everyone on a more relaxed schedule, there can be more genuine family dinners.

Wow! This family is doing great without any visible effort. What a fantastic background for any would-be performer... I'm sure Dove will be a success story in her own right soon.

I really do enjoy them.  I like seeing who shows up and watching them squeal when he gives an autograph.  Then I have him play for tips afterward while there's still a crowd.

Chase is the only one so far.  She hasn't met anyone else at high school yet and I think elementary school only turned up the paper boy.

Wow, Dove's so pretty. She reminds me SO much of Banana though, from the immortal dynasty. Is she the same generatioin as Banana? Eiter way, she is stunning!

Godiva is the same generation as Banana.  Ironically, she has a penchant for giving bananas as gifts to her friends.

I have been reading your stories for a long time now and they are definitely some of the best, most gripping stories on the forum. How long did it take to complete them? I'm assuming over a year, thinking about it.
