Aww..! Welcome, Kia! Happy birthday, Godvia! A blonde Dreamweaver ( DecaDynasty ) heir takes a little getting used to!

I know!  I was hoping Christopher's hair would go all the way to the end.  It can still come back in Godiva's children, though.

...and, I've finally caught up with the updates! :)
Wonderful story-telling as usual, Pam!

Regardless of hair color - who doesn't love Godiva, the chocolate and the Sim ;)

I like Godiva and York as a set, they're not only both chocolate but both sound English, which I like :) Not like English names, you know, but like English history.
Glad to see the dynasty up and running again!

Hey Pam, this is a little off topic but what graphics card do you have? I've noticed recently my game has been showing graphical issues.

I'm actually in the process of upgrading my computer.  First I've gotten a new power supply that's not installed yet so that I can get a better graphics card.  The one I'm using is the second one for this computer and Carl recommended it shortly after Sims 3 came out. It's an NVIDIA GeForce 9400 GT.

Welcome to our Forum, as well.  :)

Chapter 69 - Godiva and No Toddlers

Wanda kept her daycare career for a good while and it caused chaos in the house four days a week.  Crunchie was the child who comes after school and thank goodness he’s not a problem child because that would probably be the last straw.  Charms and Kris helped out with the toddlers and have even taught the sisters, nieces, and nephews how to walk, talk, and potty.

Everyone (including me) will be glad when Wanda is able to retire, but she’s determined to reach level 5 before doing so.  She had a birthday and aged to elder.  Now it’s going to be even harder for her to chase those toddlers around all day.  She only had to keep them for another day and she reached level 5.  She immediately quit her job and order returned to the house.

Godiva is a lovely child.  Here are a few last pictures of her childhood.  First is one of her watching television with her parents.

She met and talked with her Uncle Crunchie.

And also met her Aunt Nellie, who is now a child as well.

Godiva had her birthday and became a teenager.  She didn’t have a party because I’ve got a bad aging bug in my game and her age bar doesn’t move at all.  Metropolis Man gave me permission to keep track of her age on paper and manually age her up on the correct day.  The birthday cake doesn’t work either, so that means she had no party.  Poor kid.  She’s lovely, though, and gained the Green Thumb trait to go with Loves the Outdoors, Angler, and Excitable.

She kept her pigtails, at least for now.  Working in the garden won’t leave much time for her to be a prissy girl.  It’s shorts, pants, and easy hair for her!

On the rare occasions when she has a formal event, she chose a lovely bun style for her hair.

Because I don’t have a strategy all mapped out for each generation, I struggle sometimes when trying to decide on how the current generation is going to meet all of the moving requirements.  Godiva was no exception.  It didn’t help that her childhood was so rough with all the toddlers around so much of the time.  She got her Honor Roll requirement, but she was stressed much of the time and I wasn’t focused enough on her.  Thankfully, Godiva got it all sorted out for me and decided to be a Gardener.  It won’t be hard for her at all with her traits, plus the MultiTab 6000 and the fact that her father already has a very large perfect garden.  Kris will be happy to give her the starting produce and will even look the other way when she harvests the money trees for her career requirements.

Godiva spent some time with her brother York while he was still a toddler.  The only difference in their looks is the color of their eyes.  Godiva has light green from her grandfather Dean and York has light brown from his father.

York wasn’t far behind Godiva with his child birthday.  The family and I were still exhausted from Toddler Mania, so there was no party.  The little guy aged up on the floor of his nursery.  His new trait is Cat Person.

York became fond of wearing hats after wearing a beret during his todder years and picked out a hat for each of his everyday outfits.

We won’t see much of York now.  His father wanted to enroll him in the School of Peace and Love, which I thought was a wonderful idea!  So, off he went.

Great update Pam, York looks adorable in his cowboy outfit! I hope the aging bug won't affect your game too much.

Oh, wow - Godiva is gorgeous, I love her eye color! It's different without looking unnatural.
And I've always had a weakness for gardener-sims. :)

Thanks Pam. :) I checked my Computer's graphics card, and it was AMD Radeon HD 6770 512 MB. Anyway back on topic, do you remember that toddler Bebe Hart was holding in the beginning of this decadynasty? Do you know what happened to him? I'm really curious.
