I just got caught up , and everyone is so beautiful! I don't think I've ever had genetics give me such nice looking sims. Heath and Peaches are my favorite in this dynasty, behind Taffy, and I'm sure they'll have some cute nooboos.

Chapter 62 - Heath and Family

Peaches made it through the pregnancy with flying colors and soon baby boy Skor was born.  Heath was proud to name the baby after himself, sort of.  (For those who don’t know, Skor is a chocolate covered toffee bar just like Heath.)

Baby Skor is the first grandchild for Lollipop, so he’s quite a special little guy.  Even Charms was enamoured of her nephew.

Birthday time came and all the usual family and friends came for the party.  Heath brought his little man to the cake.

Here’s a great shot of three generations of Dreamweaver heirs:  (left to right) Taffy, Charms, and Lollipop.

Founder Christopher’s lips may have already phased themselves out, but his hair color is alive and well in Skor.  He’s got his mother’s black eyes, which could pass for founder Zelda’s eyes.  He’s got the look of Taffy and Charms.

Before the small family moved out on their own, they taught Skor his skills.  Ok, I admit that I really wanted to play with a toddler.

Skor got all the attention a little guy needs, and then some.

Heath made it to the top of his career and became a Mad Scientist.  Peaches bought a ridiculously expensive car to celebrate.

And then it was time to go.  Heath, Peaches, and Skor bought a home of their own.  It’s plenty big enough for more kids.  Hint, hint.  Best of luck to the newest branch on the family tree.  And thanks, Heath, for ruining the effect by moving in your sleeping clothes.

Chapter 63 - Making Preparations

Charms’ moving requirements have gone beautifully.  The family has more money than they can ever spend, so purchasing and upgrading the two real estate locations was a breeze.  Charms owns the Cat Park and newly re-named Charms Dreamweaver Corporate Towers.  The Cat Park is now a great fun place for family gatherings and parties, with new facilities on the second story of the building.

Lollipop has been able to make more than enough NPC friends and Best Friends for the household.  Her contact list seems like it’s miles long!  The 10 items left behind will be beetles, most of them Rainbow Beetles.  Having three hunting cats is awesome!

So, really, we’ve just been waiting for Charms to become an Adult and for the details to all come together.  She just had her adult birthday and things are moving along.

Unbelievably, Kris Wiggins has stayed in town and has been Charms’ boyfriend all this time.  They go on dates regularly and have a maxed out relationship bar.  He doesn’t really have the best of traits (Natural Cook, Coward, Unflirty, Inappropriate, and Over-Emotional), but he treats Charms great and they love each other.  With Heath and his family out of the house, Charms was finally able to propose to Kris.  He accepted without hesitation.

Charms had a bachelorette party that started out rather lame.  All the guests were just standing around outside and in the entry.  Only one dancer showed up, Hugh Kidding, and he went straight to the kitchen to dance.  For nobody.  Because they were all downstairs standing around.

Finally Charms made it upstairs to watch the dancer and a few followed her.  Some fizzy nectar was finally sprayed and the party picked up some steam.  Late into the night, Charms had a nice time with her grandmother, Taffy, who is still not an elder.  (Author’s note:  I think the aging outside my household is glitched.  I’m hoping the next move will set it back to normal.)  Please note Taffy’s goovy dress to impress outfit.

The two ladies talked all night and finished off by going hot tubbing as the sun rose.  Charms got her Lifetime Wish to be rich and famous in that hot tub.  That’s not a moving requirement, but it’s sure nice to get those happiness points.

Chewit has come home from boarding school and is a teenager in the house.  She’s beautiful, just like her sister, mother, and grandmother.  She’s got some great traits, too:  Virtuoso, Genius, Cat Person, and Family Oriented.  She’s got a big interest in learning to make potions and also making friends with Charms.  Somehow, their relationship went into the red while Chewit was away.  They’re trying to fix that.

Not only is the family ridiculously rich ($476,000 after buying a nice house for Heath’s family), they are also deliriously happy.  They’ve been saving Young Again potions in the Chinese chest* that sits outside the house near the mailbox.  Charms, Dean, and Zoey the cat all were able to partake of the potions that restored them back to Young Adult for the Sims and back to Adult for Zoey.  She was only a couple of days from a visit from Grim, so I’m sure she appreciated the intervention.

With Lollipop and Dean being young again and Charms about to leave, they decided to make their family even larger.  That’s right.  Lollipop is pregnant again.  How sweet is that?

[*Author's note:  Hat tip to SimBlip for mentioning the use of chests in the Townie DecaDynasty thread recently.  I've been loading it up with everything I can think of...  potions, perfect produce, Deathflowers, gems, incense holders...  to help out the next generation.  It's placed outside the house, so it will be easily accessible after Charms moves out.  A brilliant strategy that I'm embarrassed I didn't think of myself.]

I absolutely love treasure chests! I use them for everything. I sort my produce, paintings, rocks/metals/gems, etc. In my Immortal Dynasty I have about five chests to keep everything sorted.

Yeah, I did that, too.  But this is the first time I've used them to hold stuff for the next generation.  Charms and her family won't have to start poor.  They'll be able to go get the stuff in the chest and be set.

Yeah that is a great idea, I'm glad my first generation hasn't moved out yet so I can institute that strategy!

This Dreamweaver family has strong genetics so far.  Surely sooner or later I'll have an heir without Christopher's hair!
