Dreamweaver Townie DecaDynasty - Chapter 94: Bad, Bad News

Chapter 61 - Take Me to Your Leader

Charms flew through her Political career and reached level 10 halfway through her Young Adult stage and became Leader of the Free World.  Her Charisma skill flew right along with her career and she’s at level 10 with that, too.  She immediately quit her job to focus on her Martial Arts SuperMax skill.  I got some pictures of her in the various uniforms throughout her career, in no particular order.











She’s got a Moodlet Manager now and almost never sleeps.  She meditates a lot and has sparring matches with Lollipop.  She has a long way to go for her skill journal challenges.  She’s level 10 in the skill, but hasn’t completed any of the necessary challenges.

Charms finds time to spend with Kris on dates and at parties.  They had a great time at the new casino.  Lollipop throws a party almost every day in the hopes she can play matchmaker for Jawbreaker and Gobstopper.  No luck so far except for romantic interests that soon become disliked.  She invites Kris often so Charms can get some time with him.  I worry that his family will move away, though.  It seems like a family leaves town every day.  Not only that, but the guy who gave Charms and Kris the side eyes at the pool burned to death!



Dean had his elder birthday unexpectedly.  I’d been giving him Life Fruit to keep him an Adult and then forgot for a couple of days.  He aged to Elder at Christopher and Zelda’s old house, where Tootsie and Roll still live.  I couldn’t do anything about the bulbous nose, but he felt a little better with some blonde mixed with the gray and some new clothes.  He’s also overly fond of the new slot machine.













There’s been a sad event in the family, too.  Esther passed away at age 93 days.  She had spent a lot of her elder days gardening and playing with the family cats.  She was feeding the bird, Falcon, when Grim came for her.  She left behind a large gravestone that will be placed on the lot before Charms moves out.





I’d bought the Stone Hearted Lifetime Reward for all of the family, so while they mourned Esther at the time of her death, they didn’t have to carry that huge negative moodlet for two days.  The cats, however, weren’t so fortunate.  They are really struggling through their grief.  Poor kitties.

Heath and Peaches haven’t moved out yet, either.  I wanted them both to be friends with Gilbert so I wouldn’t feel bad about letting him move with them.  Peaches worked in the Daycare profession for a day before she became pregnant!  Esther’s passing opened the way for a new little Dreamweaver.  Heath wants a girl and Peaches wants a boy.  I’m not tampering with this one, so we’ll just have to see who gets what he/she wants.  Soon they won’t have time to play their Robots vs. Monsters Arcade Table.

That wedding dress is lovely. I assume it's one from the store?

And I love that one of the guests--in the front row, of course--is attending a wedding in his swim trunks. I'd say "only in the Sims," but I know a few people whose idea of "appropriate formal dress" isn't that far off! (Although they do at least show up for things wearing a shirt...)

I know!  It's so hard on them and they don't have a Lifetime Happiness Reward to keep from being upset.

Yes, it's from the wedding set at the Sims 3 Store. 

The thing with the swim trunks is that the wedding area is on the same lot as a recreation area that has a water slide.  If I don't start the wedding soon enough, they go play on it.

I think Dean is still cute and that Heath is a doll. Be careful, that slot machine is addicting. That's the only way my family earns money now!

It's going to be a little while longer before I can post another update.  I had a technical problem with my file and am replaying part of it.  Plus, I was without internet for a few days recently and I'm still catching up from that.  I'll get it as soon as I can.
