It's going well.  Christopher and Zelda are engaged!  He really does like her.  So far, it's all pretty much the same as the first story.  The firstborn might come a day or two earlier this time because Zelda was already targeted to be the spouse.

Did you stuff Zelda's face with watermelons? Will you keep the candy theme and name the first born Skittles again?

Zelda still looks good as an elder! Lemonhead is so adorable!! I see clearly what is on Skittles mind when Stevie showed up! ::) Happy birthday Skittles and Stevie! Lemonhead aging in the bathroom is hilarious! Happy birthday Lemonehead! I'm so sorry you failed Pam. I think you should do both, but that's just me. ;D I also know how hard it is to fail and if you don't want to restart it's fine with me. Ok, more reading of comments, good luck on the restart! I've had 4 failed Immortal Dynasties so I feel the pain. I know you can do it! For me though, it's not getting into HoF that is important to me, it's actually getting to the end. I loved the Dreamweavers Dynasty and I love the Dreamweavers DecaDynasty. You're an awesome writer.

Chapter 14 - A Different Life

Author’s note:  Unfortunately, when I used birthday cake to age Stevie up, I broke the rules of this challenge.  Not purposefully, but I still failed my first attempt at this challenge.  I decided to start it over again so I can hopefully get into the Hall of Fame.  My second attempt is following my first attempt quite nicely, so I’ll leave these first chapters alone and pick up where Christopher and Zelda marry and their first child is born.

This time around, Christopher met Zelda at the public pool.  Really, Zelda.  Yellow eye shadow and orangy lipstick?

Just like before, they got along famously.

After their engagement, Christopher took Zelda on a date to the Art Museum.  They didn’t look at very much art.

He decided then and there to marry her.

Christopher happened to meet the Science Geek on one of his fishing trips to the park.  This guy is rare for me, so I’m happy they are at least acquainted.

Zelda went into labor in her garden.

Christopher is a very happy daddy.

Say hello to Taffy Dreamweaver.

I would almost say that she’s got a rosebud mouth, but I think all infants look identical in the game.  Taffy was born with the Artistic and Virtuoso traits.  Her favorite color is Spiceberry.  What a bizarre coincidence.  At least I won’t have to make her clothes all over again!

Welcome Taffy! Is Taffy named after a Taffy Orange? I don't know what it is but that's the only thing that I have ever heard with the word Taffy in.

It's salt water taffy.  It's a stretchy, gooey, chewy candy that comes in all kinds of flavors.  In the U.S., we have Laffy Taffy that's sold commercially in stores.  Here's a link to a place that makes taffy.

Welcome Taffy! Good luck on the restart Pam. If Taffy doesn't have Chris's lips it will be a first. In all of my games, his descendants have those lips.
