Dreamweaver Townie DecaDynasty - Chapter 94: Bad, Bad News

Chapter 1 - Looking for Love

Christopher was ready to find a wife and start a family right away.  His bank account wasn’t ready, though.  He only had $1,000 to his name and no real job.  His Angler profession didn’t pay much in the beginning.  It’s always been just him, so money wasn’t a big problem.  That’s going to change soon if all goes well.

He had heard rumors that there were riches to be found in Shang Simla.  Practically just laying on the ground waiting to be collected.  That’s what they say, anyway.  It’s probably just a lot of nonsense, but Christopher decided it was his best option.  He sold some furniture in the house to pay for the travel expenses and off to Shang Simla he went.

Christopher could hardly believe it, but there really were riches just laying on the ground.  He took an assignment to collect 5 kinds of metal for some kind of telescope or something.  The fellow even showed him where it all was.  All Christopher had to do was run around the countryside and gather it up.  He spent the entire 3 days collecting the metal, except for a break for a workout at the Academy’s gym.



The trip ended before Christopher had a chance to deliver the 5 metals, so he had everything smelted when he returned home.  The sale of the metals and the books he found at the Base Camp brought him all the way up to a tidy $37,000.  There was enough money to buy a new truck, a painting for the bedroom and a new refrigerator and stove for the kitchen.  Not a bad deal, really.



The morning after returning home, Christopher began looking for love.  He went around town and introduced himself to every young lady he saw.

There was Madison VanWatson.



And Claire Ursine.



He also met Ayesha Ansari.



None of these women seemed interest in anything besides a little chat.  Christopher wondered if maybe the problem was him, so he set out to get a complete makeover.  First he let his hair grow out a little and grew a beard.  Nice.  This was definitely a new look.



Next he bought some new clothes.  What woman could resist a man in a lime green leisure suit with matching sneakers?



He bought something a little more modern, too, just in case his 70s look didn’t work out quite right.



With his new look, Christopher bravely went to the the park and the public pool to meet some new women.

He met Zelda Mae at the park one evening.



He met Erin Kennedy at the pool.



Molly French is attractive and they’ve got a love for cooking in common.



And, lastly, there was the fiery redhead Fiona McIrish.



Will one of them be his lady love, and his partner?  Time is running short and Christopher has to act fast or it will all have been for nothing.

I love his makeover! Is his suit store content? I haven't seen it before.

Pam,I get the feeling that every time you saw Christopher in another dynasty you felt like he was cheating on the Dreamweavers 

I felt the same way about Thornton but luckily for me Thornton is not as popular as Mr Dynasty Spouse himself.

Out of the candidates you posted for the future Mrs Dreamweaver tactically the best options are Erin and Fiona because they are adults and good options for the tombstone requirements. But I get the feeling that you will play for love rather then tactics and Christopher will marry the woman he loves and has most in common with.

Very excited for your story, Pam!  Just one thing, though, is that the lady you have identified as Emma Hatch is, I believe, actually Claire Ursine.  (And she makes lovely children! Just saying. )

Pam, the introduction didn't really surprise me, I was hoping you would find a way to incorporate the Dreamweavers into the DecaDynasty, but honestly I didn't think you could because they were created in CAS and you can't use them here, so I was so so excited about Chris changing his name. So awesome! Sophie, impatience + a Pam story doesn't really go together that well hehe. Chris looks different with facial hair!! I think that is Emma. Claire doesn't have a job at the restaurant, although she does look similar. I vote for Agnes haha. Awesome update, can't wait to see who he chooses. Also, I never meant to make Chris cheat on Carina with Penny. I'm glad my new Dynasty doesn't make anyone cheat.

Chapter 2 - Hello, Mrs. Dreamweaver

Out of all of the ladies Christopher met, there was only one that he was even remotely interested in.  As soon as he met Zelda Mae, he wanted to be friends.  Then he quickly wanted to be best friends. 



He asked if she was single and she answered yes.  Outstanding!  Christopher would soon be able to court her and get married in time to have a child before time runs out.



Just as Christopher was ready to make his move, something made him ask one more time if she was single.  This time she said she was in a relationship with Stiles McGraw!  No!!  Well, this really threw a wrench in the works.

Christopher invited Zelda to his house so he could have a serious talk with her in private and away from the watchful eyes of the town.



After some lunch, he broke the ice with a lovely bouquet of red flowers.



Then he tried an amorous hug.



He was so happy that Zelda seemed to feel the same way and so he asked her to break up with Stiles.  He knew he should have romanced Zelda when he first had the chance and Stiles had taken advantage of Christopher’s near failure.  But the one Zelda loved was Christopher, not Stiles, and she agreed to break it off.



Christopher’s clock was rapidly counting down and he barely had enough time for his heir to be born before the deadline, so he sped up his courtship of the lovely Zelda. 



He zoomed through the boyfriend/girlfriend stage and moved right on to a marriage proposal.





Then straight on to a private wedding.

He took his new bride on a lovely private honeymoon in their bedroom.





Poor Zelda wasn’t terribly educated in the use of makeup, hairstyles, and clothing.  This was quickly remedied.  She really is quite beautiful.

Lol, I just had this random thought at the start of this DecaDynasty that Chris' Spouse would get the same hair style as Carina.  You've done an amazing job on Zelda Mae, I never knew she scrubs up that clean! Congrats to the happy couple!

I think Chris has some unresolved issues his new wife looks a lot like his old wife from a parallel dimension. Joking apart congratulations to the happy couple and what exactly did Stiles think he was doing with the future Mrs Highly Desirable Dynasty Spouse.

Chapter 3 - A Fashion Show

Zelda would like to model her new outfits.  Christopher was so generous and let her pick out something new for every occasion.

These are her everyday clothes in her favorite color of pink.







This is her evening wear.  The bow on the back of the dress is especially stylish.





And finally we have her sleep wear, athletic wear, and swim wear.







Next is Christopher.  He only got everyday and evening wear.
