Dreamweaver Townie DecaDynasty - Chapter 94: Bad, Bad News

It's a great story Pam!
I'm very happy to follow the adventures of the new Dreamweavers, and especially to be able to read it from the start and to live the expectation of new chapters and development of your Sims. You have a real talent to tell story and to make your characters very attaching. And I love the fashion style you give them :-)

If you go for world wide sweets, I'll be happy to give you names of European brands. I'm kind of a candy lover!

Chapter 7 - Toddler Business and a Birthday

Skittles was a happy little toddler.  It’s true about being Daddy’s Little Girl, but her mother loved her just as much and made a point to spend time with her.  Sometimes she took Skittles for a ride in the stroller and sometimes she read her a book.  





Skittles loves her Mommy!



The lovely Zelda was quite busy with this wife and mother business.  She was also tending a nice garden every day.



She talked to people whenever she went out, hoping to make friends that would be around for Skittles’ entire life.  Gunther Goth had turned into a vampire, so he’d probably be around for awhile.



Zelda made him feel her tummy.



Oh, right.  I failed to mention that Christopher wanted to have another child with Zelda and it was just too many happiness points to pass up.  Soon Zelda was expecting their third child.

Skittles and Starburst’s birthdays came together.  Skittles wore her best party dress.



Some family and friends were at the party.  Her Daddy helped her blow out the candles.



Skittles looks even more like her Daddy now!

Chapter 8 - Little Sister, Friends, and More Labor

Starburst and Skittles share a birthday, so after Skittles aged up it was Starburst’s turn.  She looks a little more like Zelda, but only in her hair color.  Look at those eyes and that mouth.  She’s Christopher’s daughter alright.



Starburst’s traits are Excitable and Good.  She’s just precious.  Both parents helped with her potty training.





Christopher took care of teaching her to walk.



I don’t have a picture of her learning to talk.  (Bad author!  Bad!)  Here’s a close up of her instead.  She definitely looks like a Dreamweaver.



She went to the library with her Daddy and read lots of books.



The doll that Skittles got from her vague relative turned into an invisible best friend.  She calls him Riley.



Skittles wants to make lots of friends.  She met her cousin, Kaylynn Langerak, at her first party.  She’d like to be friends with Kaylynn, but she’s Mean Spirited, so that might be a problem.  Especially since Skittles aged up with the Family Oriented trait.



Another hopeful friend is Chiquita Hart from school.  Yes, another Chiquita.





Skittles wears big girl clothes now.









Her parents sent her off to her first day of school with a good breakfast of pancakes.  It’s not her favorite like it is her Dad’s, but they were good.





Don’t forget that Zelda is expecting again.  This time she went into labor in her garden.  She doesn’t really look that big to me.



Certainly not big enough for Twizzler Dreamweaver...



And!  GummiBear Dreamweaver!



A surprise pair of twins.  Nobody did anything to cause twins.  They were a genuine surprise.  Twizzler was born with the Loves the Outdoors and Artistic traits.  GummiBear has the Brave and Genius traits.  Christopher’s got his hands full and he already has a wish for another child.

With the family growing so rapidly, I did some expansion on the house.  I put in a spiral staircase and added part of an upper level.  Right now, it’s just a bedroom for Skittles (and later Starburst) and a bathroom.

Welcome Twizzler and GummiBear! That's adorable. Wow, twins. There's no escaping the nooboos, is there? But I suppose you don't mind, seeing as you love them so much.

Chapter 9 - Too Many Birthdays and the Power of a Name

There have been a lot of birthdays at the Dreamweaver house.  First was Christopher’s Adult birthday.  He immediately started having a Mid-Life Crisis after aging up.



Next it was time for Twizzler’s and GummiBear’s Toddler birthdays.  Zelda helped both of them with the candles.





Twizzler is another clone of Christopher.  She’ll probably look just like Skittles when she grows up.  She’s awfully cute.



GummiBear is very close to being a clone, too, except she has Zelda’s dark eye color.  Her face is also more round than Twizzler’s face.



Adorable little girls.  They like to play with the xylophone and peg box whenever I can tear them away from their special dolls, Bobo and Peanut.



When Starburst joins in, it’s a whole cute circus.



In between birthdays, Christopher and Zelda worked hard to keep the household and family going.  Christopher called the repair woman to fix their hot tub because he was just too busy.  But when Carina Sexton showed up, Christopher felt he should introduce himself.



Her name jolted him and stirred an almost forgotten dream from years ago, before he met Zelda.  That name.  There was something about that name that drew him.  Maybe it was the memories he didn’t really have or maybe it was just part of his Mid-Life Crisis.  Either way, Christopher couldn’t help but flirt with Carina.



That’s all it was, though.  Just a little flirt and he was back to his normal self.  He ended up talking to Carina until they were friends.  Feeling satisfied and proud of himself for being loyal to his wife, he went back to his chores around the time that Zelda came home from looking for seeds.

Carina made herself right at home now that she was friends with Christopher.  He didn’t discover the Family Oriented trait, but she loved to play with the kids and take care of them.  Here she is playing Attack With the Claw with Starburst.  That’s her swimming outfit, by the way.  She also helped herself to the sprinklers.



In this one, she’s playing with Twizzler on the xylophone.  It looks like Carina will be a friend of the family for a long time.



Meanwhile, over in Skittles’ world...  She met a boy from school named Venkat Higgins.  He came to one of the parties at the Dreamweaver household.



He’s a handsome boy and will likely grow to be a handsome young man.



The only drawback is that when his family moved to town, they couldn’t afford a very nice house.  Skittles made this discovery when she went over there after school with him.  She would have to earn a good bit of money to be able to fix the place up and expand it for a family.



Skittles did well in school and got on the honor roll.  That very night she had her Teen birthday.



She looks like she’s going to be a pretty young lady.
