Chapter 56 - Everybody Was Sim Fu Fighting

Raise your hand if this title plants an annoying song in your head! Anyone? No? Ok, on with the story.

Charms dove right in to high school and struggled for awhile at first. There was so much to do and she was stressed at the end of most days. There was school, homework, learning to drive, and on top of all that, she was learning Martial Arts.

For the times I forgot that Lollipop has a Moodlet Manager, Charms would get in the hot tub to quickly reduce her stress and make her feel like she could tackle the world the next day.

To learn her SuperMax skill, Charms started with the Martial Arts book for the first three levels. She’s also done some work on the training dummy and board breaker. Her mother learned the skill so they can spar together. Lollipop won’t be doing any other Martial Arts tasks, so she won’t be in danger of reaching level 10 before Charms moves out. Charms reached level 5 and could then meditate. She gained athletic skill up to level 2. If all goes well, athletic skill won’t be a problem. She should be able to complete everything for the Martial Arts SuperMax skill without topping her athletic skill, which would invalidate her mother’s SuperMax skill.

Charms didn’t have anyone to invite to the prom, so she went alone. She was crowned Prom Queen and realized she had strong feelings for Garth Higginbotham, a boy she met at school. The problem is, he’s a babysitter and doesn’t have a home in town for her to move into. She’ll probably get a naughty reputation for pursuing someone else when the time comes because Garth is a romantic interest. It won’t be easy, either, because Garth and one other boy who is a newspaper deliverer are the only two boys in school. I hope some nice new families move to town soon.

Elsewhere in the family, Heath had his teen birthday party. He was a cute little boy and now he’s grown into a nice looking teen. I can only image how handsome he will be as a young man. He looks so much like his father!

Heath was pretty happy when his dad let him learn to drive in his muscle car. Dean got it during his midlife crisis and never lets anyone else drive it. I hope Heath enjoyed it, because he gets a little hatchback to drive now. Oh, and the Beast that Aunt Esther gave him for his birthday.

Before he could give his invisible friend, Peaches, the potion to make her real, Heath had to work on his relationship. He didn’t get as close to her as others sometimes do with invisible friends. Dean stepped up and learned enough Logic to make the potion for him. He got it made in plenty of time and Heath got to finally meet the future Mrs. Dreamweaver.

It won’t be so easy for Chewit to find a husband, though. She’s lost her doll because of a glitch in the game. Poor Chewit.
