Is Elijah a Persian Calico? That's very rare for a male cat in the real world to have a Calico pattern.

The tackling interaction was very funny of course. I love the updates.  :)

Elijah isn't a calico.  He's just orange and white.  The kittens, however, look sort of calico except they have brown spots instead of black.  The thing with calicos is the red and black touching.  That's what is so rare in males.  Interesting observation for the game, though.  I'm sure EA didn't consider things like that at all when programming how kittens will look.  I love these little guys because they have parts of all of their parents and grandparents in their coats.  It will be interesting to see what Fitz' descendants look like.

Chapter 34 - The Worst Visit from Grim and Who is Smartie Really?

The time came for Butterscotch to age up to child.  Taffy brought her to the birthday cake wearing the wedding gown that she never got to wear as a real bride.

Don’t they look so much alike?

Butterscotch had to throw some attitude just before she was caught up in the birthday transformation.  Really, I just want to show her in that cute dress.

Lollipop was very excited wearing her formal dress.

Butterscotch badly needed a trip to the mirror and dresser.

She turned out to be pretty cute with the right hair and clothes.

She gained the Cat Person trait, of course.  I want to make sure that all these kitties will be properly cared for and loved even when the heir moves on.

Soon after Butterscotch’s birthday I got the dreaded notice that Christopher Steel wasn’t going to live much longer.  The next day Taffy invited him to come over.  He spent his last day with Taffy’s family.

When it’s time for Grim, he’ll find you wherever you are.

Rest in peace, Christopher Dreamweaver.  You founded a great Dynasty.  Again.

Smartie is a bit younger than her sisters.  Not quite a late addition, but close.  After Butterscotch aged to child, it was time for Smartie to become a toddler.  Thankfully, Taffy got over her need to wear her wedding dress when she brought Smartie to the birthday cake.  That’s Noe, Pez, and Roll in the background.

I was hoping that, after two children with Taffy’s reddish-brown hair, maybe their last child would have Noe’s black hair.  It didn’t happen.  But, really, how did Smartie end up with blond hair and bright blue eyes?

I had planned to dress her in pastels to go with her name, but after seeing those eyes, I decided to dress her in clothes to match.  They are just too amazing to ignore.

As you can see, Smartie looks absolutely nothing like her mother or her father.  Those aren’t Christopher’s eyes either.  Nor is that Zelda’s blond hair.

The one she looks most like is Randi, who also happens to look like a Barbie Doll.  But I promise, she really is Taffy’s daughter.

R.I.P Christopher.  :'( Butterscotch is very pretty, and Smartie looks very different from the rest! At first I thought it was just Zelda's genes but apparently not.  ???
If at first you don't succeed, call it version 1.0.

That was my first thought, too, but Zelda's blond hair had black roots.  Smartie has blond roots.

R.I.P. Christopher! With regard to genetics, I wonder if the game just picks characteristics of adults in the house.

Interesting thought, but I don't think so.  Plus, Smartie's eyes are a different blue than Randi's eyes.  Her hair may be a slightly different color, too.

I'd blame Smartie's hair and eyes on the 10% mutation rate! Once, I had a family where the first two kids inherited their mother's eyes and hair, but then, boom! Brown haired, brown eyed third kid, so I guess that it can certainly mutate eye and hair colour. :P

Do you mean the blue maternity outfit?  I'm not sure where the two pieces came from.  Maybe Generations because they seem to work as maternity clothes.

Nope, I meant...

Did I say Taffy and not Lollipop? Oops!

Yes, I think so.  This outfit came with Generations, I believe.

Actually, I'm pretty sure that outfit came with Town Life. I don't own the stuff pack though, so I can't be sure.
