I love reading your stories! It was kind of bummer when Royce turned out to be a paper deliverer. I liked him. He was handsome. So it will be the pirate man I suppose. A shame.

Yeah, the story had to go on hiatus when Pets came out last year, then immediately after that, my husband had knee replacement surgery and needed a lot of care for several weeks.  Things are more back to normal now, so I was able to pick up my story again.

Chapter 21 - Making Friends and Looking for Love

The first big news is that Pez aged to a teenager!  He had a great party and much fun.  This young man looks so much like his father.





The family has settled into a nice routine.  Christopher achieved his Lifetime Wish of Presenting the Perfect Aquarium, which gave him plenty of points to have a couple more relatives leave an inheritance.  Zelda also achieved her Lifetime Wish to have a Perfect Garden.  More Happiness Points for more inheritance!  The family now has close to $200,000.  They’ve been saving up for the building and property Taffy has to buy.  They could also afford a new bedroom suite for Christopher and Zelda.  (This comes from the new Master Suite stuff pack.)



Taffy worked on finishing her high school days.  She painted when she could, and she’s up to level 7.  She also signed up to be a professional Painter at City Hall and is up to level 3 in her career.  It seems that all the teenagers she meets at school are girls, so there’s no new husband prospects.  She’s best friends with Malcolm Landgraab and good friends with Mortimer Goth.  Although they are older than her, they would both make a good choice for a husband.  Each is handsome in his own way, too.





Taffy invited both of them over and Christopher cooked dinner on the grill.  Everyone seemed to have a good time, but Mortimer left in a bit of a huff for no apparent reason.  Malcolm, however, stayed to play video games with Taffy and Pez.  The kitten Heidi watched.





While the kids were playing video games, Christopher and Zelda had a little quiet time and watched the stars together.



The toy oven apparently made a big impact on Pez as a child.  He decided he wanted to be a Culinary Librarian.  He’ll be cooking and learning lots of recipes.



With his Lifetime Wish complete, Christopher will work on the NPC friends and best friends moving requirement.  He headed to the library to learn the Charisma skill to help this along.  Zelda has many friends, but she won’t be around at moving time, so they don’t count.  The friends will have to belong to the younger family members who will still be alive when it’s time for Taffy to move out.

He had a nice chat with River McIrish.



Malcolm and Mortimer are definitely possible husbands for Taffy.  But while at the library, Christopher saw that there is another.  Who is this studious young man?



Well, well, well.  It’s Derek Keaton.



Heidi the kitten is happy and loving life.  She’s especially taken with Zelda and vice versa.





The family has been looking for another kitten to keep her company.  They finally found a little male kitten named Mango.  At the very moment he was being delivered by the shelter, Heidi aged up. 



It’s a bit of a shame that she won’t be able to play kitten-to-kitten with little Mango.  He’s a pudgy little thing, isn’t he?  And so very cute.





I spoke a little to soon when I said things were going so well.  Even though the family has plenty of money, I completely forgot to buy a burglar alarm.  Ahem.  That’s right, the Dreamweavers got burglarized.  Christopher called the police while the burglar first stole their stove and then stole their toilet.  Surprisingly, the police arrived in time and arrested the burglar.  The items were returned safely.  I guess I better install a burglar alarm.

I always forget to buy burglar alarms! And I only remember to buy them when something gets stolen, haha. This was a great update! I can't wait to see who gets to be Taffy's spouse.

I vote for Mortimer or Derek. I dislike Malcolm...  Lol, that Burglar is just awesome! Love her eyes.

I don't like Malcolm as a Sim but I did get some nice genetics off him in my Khalid Dynasty. I would like to see the Keaton boy star in a dynasty he is very rarely used in stories.

Pez turned out to be a cute boy! River put on some pounds! She seems skinnier to me, normally. I chose Derek for a spouse.
