Chapter 19 - Where Does the Time Go?

I failed to mention that Taffy gained the Family Oriented trait when she aged to child. She has to be a mother, so she might as well be a good one and make it easier on herself. She plays peek-a-boo with little brother Pez and that’s a good start.

Taffy was a very good student and always did her homework as soon as she walked in the door after school. She made the Honor Roll in plenty of time. And with her painting skill coming along nicely, she’s on track with her moving requirements.

Christopher, of course, started having a mid-life crisis right after his adult birthday. He can’t have all of his wishes because it’s just stupid to divorce Zelda. He did get a car worth over $10,000, though. It’s that new little Renault.

He also shaved his beard. I guess it was just a phase he was going through. He refused to give up his chest hair and 1970s leisure suit, though.

Christopher and Zelda don't have a lot of income. Christopher is a professional Fisherman and Zelda is a professional Gardener, but neither have been able to really break through with a decent income. One issue for Christopher is that he can't fish with bait because of a game bug, so it takes him longer to get high quality and perfect fish. What a stroke of good fortune when they both came into a sizable inheritance. They didn't even know the family member who left them the money, but they were very thankful. It brought over $60,000 into the household. Zelda also decided to change her Lifetime Wish again. She found her garden to be more important than attending parties as a socialite and she really didn't have time to do both, so she changed to the Perfect Garden.

The time went by quickly and suddenly it was the kids’ birthdays again. Little Pez went first.

He looks more and more like his daddy as he grows up. Pez gained the Neat trait.

Then came Taffy. She blew out the candles and clapped. Look at those big beautiful black eyes. Taffy gained the Charismatic trait.

A couple of boys (potential husbands) were at Taffy’s birthday party. This is Marlon Combs on the spring rider.

But I think she’ll have to pursue this fellow named Royce Bachman. Those are some Dreamweaver eyes if I’ve ever seen any.

We’ll finish up with a quick look at Taffy's and Pez’ new wardrobes. Here’s little man Pez.

And this is lovely Taffy. I don't think her lips are as thin as Christopher's, but they're definitely not like Zelda's lips.

Taffy is lovely, perhaps she got a combination of her parents lips. Pez is a cute little guy.

Lovely update as usual Pam.
Taffy is a lovely looking teen and I just adore her everyday outift. Pez just keeps on getting cuter and cuter.

Taffy is one of the prettiest sims ever and Pez just keeps getting cuter! That video of them was adorable.

Chapter 20 - Kids, Teens, Elders, and Kittens

Taffy’s been having a pretty good time as a teenager. She’s a good girl, of course, and does well in school. She made the Honor Roll quickly. She’s started playing the guitar her mother gave her when she was little. She started at level 3 because she read the toddler books.

She had to go to the prom alone because she didn’t know any boys well enough to invite. In fact, she doesn’t know any boys at all, really. She had a great time, though and was Prom Queen.

Speaking of boys, remember Royce Bachman with the beautiful Dreamweaver eyes? He finally aged to teen and came to one of Zelda’s parties. He’s a handsome young man and Taffy got to spend some time getting to know him.

I was sure he was the one for Taffy, so when he left, I followed him so I could see where Taffy will be living. Bad news. He disappeared at the spa, so I looked again at his information and he’s a newspaper deliverer! Drat! That makes him out of the question for a potential husband. Taffy needs to spend time with ones who actually live in town.

What? There’s nothing wrong with Malcolm Landgraab. In a pirate suit.

I added a second level to the house. Part of it will eventually be for Taffy’s and Pez’s private bedrooms when they’re grown. The other part is a studio for Taffy. Here she can paint and play her guitar without interruption.

Pez is also a good student and has made the Honor Roll. He has varied interests. He maxed out the blocks table, which will give him a jump on the Handiness skill.

He bakes on the toy oven, too. He hasn’t been able to sell anything, though, because he’s easily distracted from the table when he’s supposed to be tending it.

His invisible friend, Fluffs, comes out sometimes to hang out. She can be annoying because she just won’t leave him alone.

The family adopted a fluffy little kitten named Heidi. She came from the shelter.

She didn’t like the television very much the first time she saw it turned on. Poor kitten.

Zelda’s adult time is winding down. She and Christopher still make time for each other.

She had a nice party for her elder birthday. And then it was done.

She’ll feel much better after she goes shopping for new clothes and colors her hair. Happy birthday, Zelda!
