No that's how Grimmy takes the horses away when they pass away. And the dogs he throws a stick and the dogs follow it into the portal. Not sure about cats though.

Aww... I was looking forward to Grim bringing his stallion to my lot to fetch dead sims...

Still wish we would get werewolves instead of those over-rated pit-ponies.

EA said they didn't get us werewolves because they decided that "if this is a Pets expansion, why not make this expansion's new lifeform be a Pet?". Well, I can pet a werewolf!

I didn't like the werewolves from sims 2, so I'm glad there's gonna be unicorns. I only wish they could breed with normal horses. And isn't there a black version of the unicorn - an evil side - I read something about that.

Oh no! Not gonna happen. Not in my game at least!
I have nothing against pink ponies, really, but a Sims 3 meets My Little Pony expansion is too much eye blinding pink for me.
I don't see it happen though as I already have trouble sometimes with getting away with the fact I play with dolls, virtual dolls that is and if there comes by pink ponies and such I really need to get a tatoo or Harley Davidson bike At LEAST to compensate that with enough man things to feel myself being me again.

No-pink-ponies.
Hey, My Little Ponies aren't all pink! :P

Awesome! Are they any different from other unicorns besides appearance?

From what I read they have opposite abilities to the good unicorns - they can curse sims for example. I am unsure whether the one unicorn has both good and evil sides, or whether there are seperate good and evil unicorns.

This is really useful, I now kind of want to get the game.
And no pink ponies for me either. I'm girly, sure, but I'm not so keen on that idea. In fact, dying a pony pink is kind of cruel, right?

Or a dirtbike! I agree 110%, NO pink horsies in my book, or I'll go color blind. My Little Pony...  :P
Maybe a black Stallion with red eyes for fiery purposes.

Red eyed black Stallion? Ha! I like your style. ;)

Now I wonder where that info about good and bad unicorns came from. Any idea? The way I see it you simply need to midlifecrisis your uni from a Good to Evil or even Mean Spirited trait.

I don't remember exactly where I read it, but I'm sure I posted the link to it in the first pets thread, and it may even be from one of the websites that I wrote notes from for everyone on that thread. It's in that thread somewhere.

I think unicorns always had both good and evil spells, regardless of their color or whatever else.

Ah, you mean like nutural animals? Used for either good or bad, according to the character of the sim that interact with it? That actually sounds very believable.
I like to see most animals as being nutural, as most of their behaviour is based on either instinct or a form of intelligence, that doesn't interfear with having the human trait of 'revenge' or other traits like that, but is more based on willing to eat or devending their teritory, offspring or partner? Yes, I think that will be very believable, and realistic, for as far as you can describe a unicorn like that.

I haven't encountered a lot of unicorns, but I can definitely attest to the fact that dogs - Schipperkes in particular - definitely have personality traits that go far beyond pure instinct.  I've had 8 schips and other dogs as well, and they all had very different personalities even though the schips all shared the typical breed traits.  The only reason humans don't see the uniqueness of animals is because we look at them in a very superficial way - we don't understand their behaviour cues and/or don't take the time to really observe them.
