I approve of the beard. As a self-proclaimed unicorn expert, I dub them... Alright. Acceptable. They're a touch too much in the modern style of unicorns (IE, very horselike, with horse tail and those hooves look awfully like a proper equine hoof...), but on the other hand, they kept the beards on the males, and they are least allow the horselike unicorns to look like horses, large and powerful. There's a temptation to make a unicorn look both horselike and really dainty and airy-fairy, but I find that that is weak-spirited, and lacks respect for the traditional features of a unicorn. The dainty unicorn route is better taken by unicorns with more deer or goatlike features, in my opinion.
