Great Story Anushka!

Very original idea of course. It's a whole part of the game that deserve to get some focus indeed. Then, your story is also very well written, funny, romance has even found its way into it now with Liang. And your pictures are gorgeous. I've bookmarked it and will be following with much interest the adventures of Angela.

This is a great story, Anushka.  Unique and well written.  Your touches of humor are fantastic.  If you're keeping detailed notes on all of these tombs, Carl may be interested in publishing the information on the Guide.  I think he has a list of tomb names, but not all of the solutions.

Good job!  Keep it up!  :)

Thank you Pam! I am taking pictures of all levels of all tombs being solved and I even named them before uploading to Gallery. If this story become to cluttered, I'll see with Carl what would be the best form for the Guide with all the material I'm gathering. Thank you for the encouragement!

Lovely sweet update! That pic of Bridgeport look great :)

Thank you LoveSims! I chose Bridgeport since I don't usually play there but I do like the town, so this way I'll get to explore it better. I was astonished by the view on the bridge from Hemlock's apartment! Ghost hunter profession let my Sim visit everyone without making friends and becoming celebrity, at least for now.

Love this story Anushka. I even installed World Adventures just to travel and explore China  ;D
Keep up the great work.

I'm happy to hear that! WA got negative publicity because of the bugs, so I'm thrilled that I managed to show some good sides of it :D Thank you!

Oh, coming from such a profane writer I'm really flattered! Thank you very much Bella (I bookmarked your Decadynasty few days ago :) )

Home, still Week One

I sometimes feel like time has stopped in China. But back here, it is running twice fast it seems. I guess it is a big town syndrome. Still, my apartment is finally looking as mine, not just another boring uniformed place for a rent. I really like that old bowl I find.. in these days rarely anything survive decades, but this  bowl is ancient, made thousands years ago.. I bet it's maker couldn't possibly imagine it will sit in my living room so many centuries later!

I was so silly thinking how Sims in China are strange. Just take a look at random people that followed me in the elevator. I was holding my banisher just in case!

Then the elevator itself turned into enemy!

I miss Liang and China so much! It is like a parallel universe, not another country! Just one more job to finish and I'm back on that plane. Just one more.

Huh, I'm done. Liang, here I come!

Thanks LoveSims and Joria, I love catching my Sims in all kind of situations :D
I'm  way ahead in gameplay, but my superslow internet is not letting me to upload pictures in gallery, and it takes forever to post anything. But I will try since I have enough material for at least 5 updates:)

Aww thank you! I am a huge fan of WA adventuring and Amb professions that made game much more exciting than usually. I had my latest dynasty attempt start with firefighter but it is in graveyard (founder did get his LTW to save 30 Sims ;D ). Future attempt will probably have firefighter too!

Am I the only one not seeing pictures from the first three posts in the story?

Thanks for reading and letting me know - there was a little problem with my albums in gallery, but now it is solved, and pictures should be back:)

China, trip 3

(On her previous trip Angela grabbed the Pangu Axe and managed to report so she got 3 level visa for longer vacation, but there was no time to raid and explore the tomb, so for the sake of the story, I'm writing down that she got it on her third trip. Also, she got LTR Opportunistic which helped her to get visa points faster.)

So, where were we.. Temple of Heaven.. Magic Pangu Axe, in ancient writings it is said that sorceress imbued that axe and that it can break large boulders. Local Sim want's me to give it to him, but we'll see about that!

Nice place to stash some relics:

Uh Oh I haven't seen this one coming.. I hope that axe is worth all this trouble!

Few hours of disarming traps and exploring dive wells - it's there! Hmm..

It's sparkling pink! and it is not that heavy.. but somehow, I'm not that impressed.. at least for now.. On the other hand, this tomb is huge and I'm shore that there must be some valuable relics around.. and they are!

Bottom level of the tomb:

Main level of the tomb:

Top level of the tomb:

That was very productive hunt! Few zodiac figurines, 2 vases and tomb symbol! Not to mention all the gems and common relics, very nice loot! Now off to deliver this Axe - I worked hard to earn trust of Sim here, so I don't want to ruin my chances for this little thing. If I find all this beauties here, who knows what will I find in Dragon Cave! So, I'm delivering this Axe as I promised..

I'm not shore I heard well.. or saw you well.. or whatever. I got 3 stamps! Whoo Hoo! And what is even more unbelievable - I get to keep the axe! Only I have to explore one more tomb to really keep it, but still, being fair pays big time here! I love China!

I rushed to Hot Springs to retrieve that relic and finish this part of the story. It was night so it wasn't really worth of taking pictures of the outside. But I can tell you it is more than beautiful place, and as soon as I clear it out, I'll go there for some real vacationing! But till then, here is a little peak into all the things I went trough to get that relic:

First level:

Second level:

It is getting darker and darker as I go deeper in the ground. Third level:

And finally, forth and last level of this tomb.

Loot wasn't as good as in previous one, but at least I got another tomb symbol!

China, romance time

That night I went to the base camp tired of all the adventuring when Liang called. I missed him a lot, but I was too tired for anything, so I asked him to meet tomorrow. Our relationship was almost platonic, except for a few kisses, we spent most of our time together staring at each other or at the stars. I feel very calmed with him around, and I might even consider taking this relationship to the next level.. At least to the "relationship" level since now we are crazy in love but not exclusive. Like I have time for any romance at all, but still it would be nice to know he is committed to just me.. With all this thoughts, I went to see him. He asked me to go to that old farm area.. where rice fields used to be and fishermans.. He knows how I love that area, near the water, beautiful landscape, and amazing views..

And then, he told me to look around:

"I asked them to built it just for you, my love.."
Wwwhat!? Oh, I mean Wow, but honey I don't have money to afford that home now.. Thank you but..
"No "but", it's all been taken care off."

"I love you with all my heart, and I want us to start a life together. And I hope you'll like this home so it can be our love nest.."

Oh my dear Liang.. I can't live here, you know that.. I can visit you and stay for a while, but I can't live here, I can't have children here, there is no hospital, school.. it is just not possible..
(phone rings-saved by the bell)

It's Maya, I have to answer this one. I'm sorry Liang, but our love is hitting the hard rock..
"All we need is love.."

Maya wants me to talk to some locals, and I find out that keys to Dragon Cave are hidden somewhere in France!? I have to leave China for now, and maybe it will clear my mind about all this that Liang trow at me.. I'm really not ready to share my life with someone, even with him..

Cooling off and hello to France for the first time

That was one hectic trip in China. Adventuring wasn't that exciting, but Liang trow me into emotional swirlpool! I mean, I do love him, I can't love him more than this. He is amazing in every way, except that he rush me a lot.. and I mean a LOT.. I was only considering to ask him to go steady, and he buys us a house! And he just assume I'll move to China! How can he be so.. so.. senseless? It looks like he doesn't even know me and I thought he understand me better than anyone! I get away from China even if I could stay for longer, but I needed some time to think this off.. and he might come to his sense too! I hope at least..

In meanwhile my collection is growing:

And I love the way my living room is looking now:

Yes, those flowers are from Liang. He gave them to me before I run off left to pursue this key..

So, it was time for another trip, and this time - France! Just what I needed, in all this love mess I needed to go into Lovers Paradise.. huh..

I was asked to deliver some opal, and only place to find it was on this remote island. I heard there are rare butterflies too, but I couldn't find them. At least I got some rare grapes too. Zeen:

Yves Bernard, Sim I needed to talk to, doesn't seem to be very impressed, but he still told me where to look for that key. Apparently, it is hidden deep into the basement of Landgraab's Chateau.

And it is looking amazing! Wow, what a place!

This is so charming! And it is my first solved tomb in France:

Axe is working in France too!

Most of the rooms in the Chateau are locked for now:

On the second floor, there is a nice loot here! A lot of LTH points here, thank you France!

And sleeping like a queen, or at least a princess :D I love this place:

Hidden stairs lead me all the way down to the hidden basement.. and not only I find the key to the Dragon Cave, but I also find a key to the nectar cellar filled with ancient (and expencive) nectar and more of those rare grapes, again, thank you France!

Last day I spent in France I was in this fabulous garden. It had Pomegranates and Pomelos and Plums! And it looked amazing.. I'll be back here, no doubts  about that!

Back home to cool off from traveling and gems started to appear everywhere! Collections are growing nicely, and I already have 3/4 of the value I need to fulfill my LTW!
