Wow, what a way to start a family! It's amazing that your Sims wished this calamity on themselves as it were :D Tragic that he died, but that's good drama right there, like a TV show!
You can call me Juxt

where the party never ends.

City Boy

Little Alen grew up fast. And he grew into adorable toddler.

Cat following Alen turns to be a puuurfect pet for this family. Her name is Mia and she is independent, adventures hunter. Angela fell in love with her instantly.

Still, she was rarely smiling. Except of course when she is with Alen:

Angela sold couple of relics and renovated the appartment the way it was. But her memories were still fresh and she spent almost all the time outside.
Taking a toddler outside in Bridgeport can be challenging. Angela once again saw the ugly side of City of Lights.
So much concrete and dirt..

And nature preservation showing just how much pollution there is:

At first, she took long walkes in areas she usually visits..

But Alen was just a toddler and he had troubles sleeping after so much lights and noise.. so she started exploring further areas and awake her adventurer once again..

So, it was logical she would browse the internet to look for family friendly towns to raise her son. And then the phone ring.

It was a call that will change her life forever.

Bridge is no place for a toddler! I wonder which town she will choose. Love your pics of Bridgeport :D

The Decision

It's been a while since her phone ringed, or since she spoke with anyone beside her toddler and cat. Of course, none of them understood her.

A: Hallo?
C: Hello, this is Carl Ratcliff speaking. Is that Angela Buznik, the famous explorer?
A: ugh.. yes .. yes it is. How can I help you? (She forgot that once she was the famous explorer who fight mummies and defeated Dong Huo! And now she is chocking from a single phone call!?)
C: I'm glad I finaly get to talk to you! Do you have a minute?
A: Of course, what is it about?
C: I need a quatermaster for my expedition. You are the best explorer I've heard of so..

A: Oh wow, I'm flattered! What kind of expedition you're talking about?
C: Well, it's a long story...

(Few minutes later)

Angela seems happy again. Not only she was reminded of all the great things she did, but she got the offer of a lifetime! Quatermaster on expedition? Mysterious land to explore? Places Sims never seen before? Alen will be more than happy to grow up in such an environment, much better than to play in this dirty noisy town, with a dark cloud of family tragedy they expirienced.

She sold all the relics and ores, packed the suitcases and lock the doors.

Goodbuy Bridgeport, you will not be missed.

So now it is clear what Carl had in mind for her ;D

New world, new home, new life

Angela was more than happy with the outcome of her decision. Not even in her dreams she could imagine such a wonderful things to happen, and amazing opportunity she got. Team was wonderful, Alen loved his time on the ship and ther were plenty of people to look after him while Angela was busy. Finally setting they reached the shores of a wonderfull land they later named Union Cove..

After exploring the world, Team build the world. What a task was that! She personally supervised building her own home:

Pool garden is lovely with amazing views:

Mia is hunting in front yard all the time, it is like a paradise for her!

While Alen is having his playground all set:

Inside is wonderfull, they both love living here:

Dining room with fishy window toward study area:

Alen's room filled with toys and favorite pattern - cars!

Angela has her part of the house suitable for relaxing and entertaining:

And her new kitchen:

Mia is loving the new furniture:

When town was build, a lot of years passed, but Brustle invented the potion in Science Lab that would erase all the memories, and time passed, and provide fresh start for those that want it. Hardly anyone needed that more than Angela and Alen. All the bad things - like they never happen! What a gift that was!
And even if they don't remember walking around ugly grey BP, I do. And I'm so happy to see them in this beautiful world.

Yes ;D I really enjoyed building it specially for this family, and I'm in love with those gardens, and everything else really. Really proud of that house, but I left upstairs pretty empty with few gaming objects - that will be turned into a museum since she is Collecting Queen and we have lots of work to do. It's good that there is enough help for her -cat for small animals, bugs and fish; and little Alen that will grow up soon:) Upstairs can be turned into buttler area too, or if she ever fall in love again.. who knows what will happen in UC:)

Wow Anushka the house is beautiful! The landscaping is amazing! But it is a very big house for just the two of them. ;)

Thank you, loveSims I'll keep that in mind  ;), but it is planned for her to collect everything there is to be collected and we need space for that.. And there is Mia, the cat, and a falcon with many more in next update! Angela wasn't really friendly or flirty, and wasn't intended for her to have any romantic relationships, but somehow she managed to have 2 romances so far without an effort :o

The house and lanscape is beautiful, and little Alen is so cute.  Would you have to start all your exploring again? from china upwards?

yes, I will, she is a townie in UC now ;) I may skip that part of adventuring in a story, and focus on France and Egypt, and collecting other stuff, plus little one will grow up into a teen soon enough to join her in her adventures, or .. we'll see where the story will go ;)
