I've record the time I've spend creating a big dog, small dog, cat and horse. I hope it will be uploaded soon. That depends on me, true, but also on YouTube. I'll make a new topic for it when it's done.

Oh, the designs were so fun to play with. I recreated my childhood pets. First, my first pet Moe. He was the best cat.


And my Boston Terrier Happy. I was pretty satisfied with how well they created this breed. I miss my Happy... but I do love this collar.


Last, my horse Rosie. I tried to create a "strawberry roan" look because that's what she was. I think I did okay.


I definitely found what I needed in the advanced options. EA did wonderfully and made it very user friendly. If you ever played Sims 2 Pets, the CAP interface is very similar and I had no problem working it. It's all done in layers and you can add patterns either by region (chest, right front foot, face, etc.) or you can pick a pattern and move it around and change the size of it. The only thing I was disappointed with was the option on tails. You can't change the length, there are just a couple presets. You also can't really change the thickness either. Like my cat Moe had a really thin tail and I didn't get to portray that well. You can add fur shapes that will make your animal have thick, long, short hair, whatever you want, though. Overall, I am very satisfied with the many options EA gave, and I can't wait for the EP release!!

I haven't had any problems either. I'm about to try playing the game normally and see if it affected gameplay.

Yes, try to actually play the game. That's what people are having problems. It won't let them play and the game got messed up.

Ok, I can't play it. According to the official forum, it has to do with mods? I don't have any, but I can't play my game. They say a factory reset will do the trick, so that's what I'm currently doing. I have a backup of my Sims 3 folder that already has all of my store content downloaded onto it. The only thing I'm worried about is my saves, though. I was an idiot and didn't back them up. They're still there, just not pre-CAP. I'll let you know how it goes.

Edit: Gameplay worked fine after a factory reset. Turns out that CAP works with your game and it's not a standalone demo. It even adds a couple folders: Collections and SavedOutfits.

There's no Lurcher, at least not in the demo version that we have, but here's the basic Greyhound:



You can colour the dogs and modify the coat, eye shape, ears, etc. to give them an individual look.

I didn't really look. The backed up folder that I had already had all my store content downloaded to it, so it all got fixed when I used it instead of doing a factory reset.

After downloading the demo, my store content was all gone.  The only way I could find to get it back was to uninstall the demo and reinstall all the store items.
