Has anybody else found that they can't launch their game after installing the demo?

I haven't tried yet.

I'm taking so many screenies, can we just post them here whenever?

There are serious problems with the Create-a-Pet demo.

They're recommending you install the demo to a different computer from the one you play your games on.

Edit:  There is a solution. Basically, remove your Saved games folder and Downloads folder from The Sims 3 and place them on the desktop. Then Rename The Sims 3 as The Sims 3 old. Your game will launch then. Quit the game and go back and put your games and downloads in the "new" The Sims 3.

The schipperke model in the demo really doesn't look much like a schip.  This is the best I've been able to do so far:

And cute as that looks Dianne! Perhaps it would be a great idea to post a picture of your true pet and a picture of your sims pet to compare here.
