Gallery image size?

I just posted my first chapter of a new story, and I believe my images are too big for the forum.  They are hosted on Carl's gallery, and I thought that they would be automatically resized when posted.

I don't want to have my too-large images cluttering up the boards.  Is there a way to resize them that is both fast and easy?

They look like the right size for the forum, to me. If you really don't like them then you could use Photoshop to resize to 640x480 but the Gallery has resized your images for you to the right size.

I agree with samoht, that's the correct size.

Okay, when I click to get the pic info, it was saying that they were 600x800 which was why I was worried.  Thank you for checking and your replies!
