You mean the option is greyed out?

Is it possible that one of the other Sims in the household could be pregnant already?

How old is the mother?

@ Sportsfan - Yes
@ Schipperke - She is a Young adult and no, no other sim has even woohoo-ed in the last 10 days or so...

I guess I could wait untill one of my non-immortals dies and have the baby a bit later... But still want to get this clear :)

When you go to the Relationship panel and limit the display to Household only, does it show just the 7 Sims that are supposed to be there?

Hover over the grayed out "Try for Baby" and it will tell you what the problem is.

Is Try for Baby even an option?

It could be possibly because the maximum household limit is 8 (correct me if I am wrong) and there is a possibility to have twins, triplets etc in the game so wouldn't the game not allow it because it is randomly selected (the amount of children the Sim would have) and because they are near the limit already?

Usually the game would only allow your Sim to have one baby if there is only one space left in the house. Even if you had fertility treatment you would still not have twins.
