Immortality in Sims. An Immortal Dynasty - Chapter TWO
« on: September 14, 2011, 03:01:05 AM »
The sun rose, just as it always did. The moon shone, just as it always did. Vita Alto plotted to run Sunset Valley... just as it always did.
"The earth holds many secrets, young one. You must learn to walk the path before you truly become immortal. This family does not tolerate failure. You are my daughter... I expect you to succeed." He said, just as he always did. He had said this line many times before. This man was me.

"Girl," this man that was me said, "you are to be the founder of an immortal dynasty. You will join great names in the Dynasty world. There are some epic names in this world...

You will be one of them."

"You must accomplish a goal. Not a small goal like "Wake up" or "Use the loo", but a long-term goal, something you have wished for for your lifetime. This will be called your Unique LTW.
You must reach the top of a career. This will be your "Unique Job".
You must max a skill, along with all related Skill challenges. This will be your "SuperMax Skill".
You must purchase a property and a building. The property must be upgraded to Level 3. This is your "Home away from Home".
You must reward yourself thrice. This must be a LTR - and will be your "3 LTR".
You must have 6 Best Friends. This will be your "BF's".
You must complete 6 Opportunities. These will be your "BlackOps".
You must be captured in every life stage, on canvas. This is your "Portrait".

On top of this... your decendants must do the same. And where there are requirements, there must not be repetition. Your requirements, their requirements... they must not overlap.
Only then will your blood be proven pure enough for you to take your Ambrosia."

This is my founder (whose name escapes me right now. It's Something Smith, I think.

你会做... ...为您的家人,对我来说,为名利,为荣耀,但最重要的,你会为自己做它。
You will do it... for your family, for me, for the fame, and for the glory, but most importantly, you will do it for yourself.

Thanks! I'm going to play tonight, so I should have an update (and a name to the face) then.

Chapter One - Marriage, a union of two people.

I am Emily Steel, formerly Emily Smith. My darling Christopher (Steel) decided to propose to me. Because of this, I am now a Steel by name, a Steel by nature. Here are some new pictures of the family.

Kissin'

He knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring...

Yaay!

With this ring...

...I do wed.

This has been an epic saga recently - there has been love, realisations, and so forth. What shall be in store next time?

We shall see.

I have no screenshots for this chapter, unfortunately. (Bad Seabody! -slaps hand-)

Chapter Two, Cassandra

Sometimes you need to find someone to love, to love, to have and to hold, 'til death do you part. I, Emily Smith (formerly Steel, formerly Smith), was lucky to find that in my sweetie pie, my darling, my honey, my Christopher. With the ring that slid onto his finger that very day, I had condemned both him and me to a horrible fate.
I would live, live to see his agony in death, and to see the spouse of my descendants' agonies. I had condemned myself to watch a man die, while I live. That is my curse.
He would die, knowing full well that I would not, and neither would our child, nor their child, nor their child, until eight, yes, only eight of us were left. These 8 elders would all live to see another dawn, while their spouses would live only to see their twilight.
It is selfish, in a way, but who am I to argue? This deal was passed to me by a man who called himself Seabody, who, in turn, received it from a Man known as a Metropolis.
It is our curse.

Irregardless of the life and death to which Christopher is fated, he served his main purpose, in producing my heir. Without him, I would have no heir, and no heir means death for me. My heir, a gorgeous girl, we named Cassandra, the Latin name for "Prophetess".
My curse is one I have passed to this nooboo.
Shame on me. Shame on me. Shame on me.

Forgive the double post, but I made a trailer for this story.
Immortality in Sims: An Immortal Dynasty Trailer. I reccommend you turn your volume to maximum, or nearly maximum, because due to human error, the music is really quiet.
