I just found a gigantic meteor that is worth 14,000. Can they go any higher?

I don't know!  Did you find it through the telescope? I was once searching the galaxy and I got a message stating a meteor just fell in the graveyard, but I don't remember it being worth much.

It was one of the rarest ones. I found it through the telescope. I have it among 11 other meteors in my backyard. I'm trying to collect them all.

Wow that's great!  One piece of advice...do not analyze it!  My sim found a huge meteor worth around 3,600 and when I had her analyze it, the price dropped to about 1,200. :(  Sometimes I just get greedy. :D

However, if you don't analyze it, you won't get credit for whatever kind of space rock it is.  And I bet there's also a chance it will go up in value as well as down.

What you could do is save the game, then analyze it and if the price goes down, don't save and restart the game. If it goes up, the better! Unless, the game uses a random generator that resets every time you start up the game. Then you could just do whatever you wanted to do.

This is purely unfair! :'(
I've looked in that telescope for hours on end without luck!

My sim doesn't have a job, so I have him looking through a telescope at night, and searching for them in either the catacombs, or throught the world. I also have a bit of gems, ores, and bugs.

One of my characters found a meteor through his telescope.  When he picked it up and analyzed it, it came up with a value of over 18,000.  This is the most valuable one I've run across.
