This totally makes sense because Ernestine is in the law enforcement career, she was given a patrol car as part of her job and it's her only vehicle.  I even saw it in her inventory once she was already on vacation, but did you know . . .

The po-po are coming to Shang Sim-La?

I think she's a bit out of her jurisdiction...

It depends. If she's made it to International Super Spy, then I think the world is her jurisdiction. Even Special Agent could have jurisdicition in Shang Sim-La, especially if she's an NCIS agent and someone in the Navy or Marines was murdered. 

In any case, that's probably not the most discreet car for undercover work abroad. At least turn off the lights!

Oh, no, she's nowhere near so advanced in her career as that!  She's something pretty ordinary, still, like a lieutenant.  She hasn't even reached the branch in the career yet.  She's just a weirdo.

My sim just got a brand new telescope, but I think she's having some trouble getting used to it:



Either that, or she has eyes on the back of her head! She is a mother, after all.

There are so many wonderful threads to read, I'm slowly catching up.

I don't have any pics, but after reading everyone, I will be sure to take them.

Before Late Night, I had a sim in Sunset Valley that was almost killed 3 times by a meteor in ONE game. The first time she was using the telscope on the roof of her house and had the comment "Oh, it's so dark", then I saw the shadow of the meteor and made her run. The house was completely destroyed (it was a 3  alarm fire, bec ause 3 firefighters showed up). She was so toasted and upset, i sent her to China for some R&R. While playing guitar at the base camp, she stopped playijng and again "Oh, it's so dark", so i made her run. Two of the other explorers where killed. Since her vacation was a bummer, I sent her home. Next day, back at work, she comes flying out of the Theater ("missing work") and I try to make her go back inside but she won't. Then a meteor falls on the Theater and kills all the other band members! They were quickly replaced by other townies the next day. She went on to become a Rock Star; but, since her lover died by the meteor, she was never married.

Then, I get Night Life and use the same sim in Bridgeport. First day on the job, she says "Oh, it's dark" and comes running out of the studio. The meteor falls and kills, Devin, Alan and Tiara. For the rest of the game Matt and Emmy are walking around like burnt toast.

Got rid of that sim because she had too much "Magnetic Attraction". I never let my sims use the telescope now.

That's terrible luck!  I've only ever had one meteor in my game.  My sim lived in Twinbrook in the swamp.  He was fishing in the bayou behind his house when he cancelled the Fish Indefinitely action himself and tried to go back to the house.  I had no idea what was happening, so I tried to stop him and succeeded in halting him before he returned home, but he'd moved far enough away to be safe, thankfully.  On another Sims fan site I read about one player's game when a meteor struck the school, killing most of the children in the town, including their legacy heir.  She had pictures of it, so it seems to be true.  There are some times when I wonder why certain capabilities are programmed into the game.
