Another amazing thing (if this actually) happen in the game. No more Painter, no more Sculptor. All will be easy and done in no time! And that is a Brilliant quality!

The death flower wouldn't stop him from dying, just give him a few more years to live. He would go back to the start of elder. 

I'm curious, I always think of the "what if" aspect.  D   So what if he drinks the fountain of youth elixer, wouldn't that override the no exception aspect?  It returns an individual to YA, so I would think that would happen to him, or does the fact that he is a townie orverride that?  Is it programed that he is a townie, even if he has drank the elixer and returns to YA, he will still die the set day programed?


Since the death flower doesn't stop him from dying, I am guessing that he could be resurected to ghost status.   
If the death flower stops him from dying and he is reset to the beginning of elder, I would think that the elixer could then reset him back to YA.

I've had a few elderly Sims give Grim their deathflower, have their age reset to the beginning of elder and then die within the next day or so anyway if they are not part of my active household. 

I've also given my reset elder the young again potion.  That does indeed, take them off the Grim watch list.  They are no more likely to die than any other Sim in story progression.

That's a super pretty painting, although I've never ever seen it before.

One of my artist sims did on like that, but it wasn't near as pretty.  It was in fact quite sad looking, so I sold it.  If my sim had done one that good I would have kept it.

Interesting how a sim can do one painting that looks good then do it another time and it suck! 
Some of those paintings I wish I could get in real life and hang on my walls.

I meant that, without a deathflower, when the game decides that it's his time, then that's it. No amount of Ambrosia will save him, as far as I know.

Today I decided to explore my sims' family tree, and realized that Fiona was bf/gf with leighton

The first time I ever played Sunset Valley Fiona McIrish dated and had a son by Cycl0n3 Sw0rd. They broke up, and shortly after Fiona passed away Cycl0n3 and River started dating....which is right about on-par with the time that Lisa Bunch had a child by Iqbal Alvi after she and VJ broke up.

Story progression is a twisted an amusing thing.

When I first read it, I read it as Brian . So I was like, what's wrong with a boy being names Brian? But then I saw cndneh comment, and I realized it really said Brain, not Brian.
Story progression can be very interesting, to say the least.
