Well, I think something weird is definitely going on with my games. I finally caught one of my grandkids dying as a baby. Don't ask me how b/c I was just minding my own business lol and it popped up.

Looks like you've had several infants die.  That's really weird.  I just can't imagine why that's happening.

Yes it is sad! Yea I seem to have alot of my grandkids die and don't know why! I didn't think you could starve kids!

I guess you could starve them, just like any other Sim, by not feeding them.  But dang!  I've never seen little ones die like that.  You'd think that Social Services would come get them before it got to that point.

I'm assuming those are non-playable sims that are dying, (as in, in a household that you aren't playing but still part of your family.)
That's so sad, but I do think that the social workers won't come for Non-playable Sims.

I finally got a pic of my magician.  I had read on posts that they were in the parks, but up until now have not seen one.  My sim is good friends with him already, but that is as far as it is going.

Is there anything special about him? Does he perform magic tricks?

I'm assuming those are non-playable sims that are dying, (as in, in a household that you aren't playing but still part of your family.)
That's so sad, but I do think that the social workers won't come for Non-playable Sims.

In my game the town babies have never died that I know of. They do seem to be neglected however, whenever I have visited the homes where they live. Their bars are always yellow, orange or red and the adults in the home are busy doing their own tasks and when I send my Sim to care for the baby, then the other adults head for the baby too.
I'm "sensitive" to my Sims babies and I just have to do something to help them. So, thanks to Pam who showed me how to build/buy in the town, my babies and tots have cribs, potty chairs, high chairs and toys in every location except for the career buildings that I can not see into. I have noticed that since taking that action, the town Sims seem to bring their babies out with them more often. I also have visited all of the homes that have babies and tots and I have equipped all of their homes with the items as well.

Isn't there something which makes families die/move away if the town is over populated?

I've never noticed anything like that, but there might be, who knows?

But they could easily just take the child away instead of killing it. . .
That's just me though. I have seen a magician person and am very curious to see if he does anything other than just act like a regular Sim...
