My dynasty family seem to be quite quirky. First Holly sculpts Jackson as a goblin, then as a flat disc. Now this..
Jackson had just retired (Holly came into the bedroom and applauded), then he went to eat some breakfast. While he was in the dining room, Michael came in. This was already in progress before I noticed. I thought at first it was Michael's birthday as he is due to age from toddler to child today too. Then Jackson walked out of the room leaving Michael standing there throwing confetti. Then he reverted to a toddler for a second and I relaxed, then he changed to this again. I thought he was going to stay that way  but then he reverted back to toddler as he walked out of the room.

I had this happen to me too! It happened to a kid when I tried to get him to empty the recycle bin. He went back right away though.

I thought I'd share the dramatic effect of putting the larger junkyard from Twinbrook into Sunset Valley. These were taken at night, so I tried to brighten them up a bit.

I hope that's just a glitch, but you might have some unwanted third party content in your game.  It's been known to cause bizarre things like what happened to your toddler.  You may want to look through your installed content (through the launcher) and see if there's anything suspicious looking.

Can't see anything. The only CC I have is a few windows that have been there since before I started here and the only other added content is store stuff and houses from the building contests here. So I'm thinking glitch at the moment, but if it happens again, I might have to take a closer look at what I have.

I get that on the little island in France when I use the collection helper looking for rocks or bugs.

I looked and looked ... are you typing about the tree off to the side?

I've noticed several times landscaping items (usually the larger trees) show up when I'm in basement view. It's a bit distracting, but the tree's not actually IN the basement. I just think it's a rendering bug in the Sims3.

Yeah I did mean the tree!     I find it a bit distracting as I had an Oak tree once and it blocked me from seeing part of the basement!

I haven't gotten trees but I have gotten butterflies in my basement (not where I could catch them though  )

Now how close to English is Simlish?  My Sim was sitting down eating a grilled cheese sandwich and I'd swear she said "Mmm Pringles".  I'm not the only one, my fiance heard it too.

(Funny when I ran spell check the only thing that came up was the quoted text that it wanted to fix.  Hehe)

hehe me too. Several times I've planted large palms and what-not near the house (so the upper levels have attractive views), only to start playing the game and when a Sim heads to the basement, there's huge stumps-of-palm trees all over the place ... in the basement.

As I said, I think it's just a rendering bug, I've just moved the trees a bit farther from the house (or replaced them with shrubs). I have noticed a few times plopping down a few of the shrubs or flowers near the base of the offending trees sometimes keeps them "on the ground," but not always.

About the tree thing...I've gotten statues on different levels than the one they were on, like...I put two fu dogs as guardian statues on a upper level of a manor, and they still showed up when I switched to first level. I just tried ignoring it...
