Note when building a house. ALWAYS add a door from the outside to the inside, unless your like your sims stamping their feet and complaining they can't get to the bed/toilet/fridge/paint easel.

A discovery I have just made: I can click on the various buildings from my home lot, and it will enable me to choose any of the usual activities associated with that lot, provided I can see them on my phone. So I can click on the Town Hall' and select 'join political career' or 'Varg's Tavern' and 'click on go here with ...'. I never knew that before, I guess because I never tried it.

I will go mad with this power mwa ha ha ha.

Oh wait, I'm already mad.

Yeah, I just got burgled first full night of new game ... sim had an all in one bathroom and a sleeping bag ... he was asleep in the sleeping bag ... he woke up in the middle of the night and got out of the sleeping bag. I got the notification he was being burgled, and I thought, great, he'll lose his bathroom. But no, the thief stole his sleeping bag. I was like yeah, ok ... glad to see they've got their priorities straight. Sleep before showering/toileting etc

Have you ever tried traveling to the future with a couple of grieving Sims? Their crying voices came through the portal first, then came the Sims. It was hilarious

@sdhoey I hope she sorted herself out. Or rather, that her parent did. They were invisible and partially beneath the surface of the sidewalk. It happens frequently, that or they disappear completely below the surface, making their speech and thought bubbles the only visible thing. I don't know why Sims struggle to remain above the ground in my game or visible, lol.

In my Alvi save, I have placed a live show venue where the hospital used to be, in Sunset Valley, as I have another hospital.

On this particularly memorable night, there was an acrobat performing there between 10 and 12 PM. An audience had gathered to watch the performance and were clapping happily in awe. But...the acrobat was invisible. And the music...the music played in the Alvi house, specifically from just beside the refridgerator. My alien teenager boy was hanging out in the kitchen at the time and apparently felt inspired by the dislocated music, because he suddenly got a lifetime wish to become an acrobat. I decided to let him keep it in honor of this peculiar situation.
