So I'm replaying last year's Baby Boomer III challenge for fun and I'm sitting there watching all the sims in the hot tub lift their toes out of the water all at the same time when an unexpected guest drops by.

The woman not in the hot tub is Baker, child #1 and long since left home.  In the hot tub are her father and two younger sisters.  I think Baker is upset that Hailey and Harper get a hot tub and all she got was a lousy chess table!

When it rains in Riverview, it sort of looks like the river water disappears  :o

That happened to me in Sunset Valley too. I thought that the lakes were frozen.

Well, I don't know if this is really new, but today I tried to squeeze in a birthday before the school bus came.  I kind of figured the game wouldn't allow me to send the birthday boy, who turned from child to teen, to school, but I was counting on sending his older sister and three younger siblings.  I even got the school bus pop-up, but when the time came, no bus arrived.  All five kids stayed home.  Then the two teens, both of whom had jobs, the older one for many days, skipped work.  No carpool ever showed up and it wouldn't allow me to send them.  None of them took any hit for missed work or school and two of them even did homework autonomously that I'm nearly certain they'd finished the night before, as if they'd gotten more sent home from their teachers!  I posted in the Help forum, but on Monday (this took place on a Friday) all the kids went to their respective schools and jobs without a fuss.  I guess the game figured something important was going on, so let's cancel formal activities?  The older teen, who already had her job, even got paid for a day off.  That will be the last birthday I try to squeeze in at the bus stop!

I read about holidays where things are cancelled with Seasons, but I don't have Supernatural or Seasons yet, though I am patched up.

Since there isn't really a place to share what's going on in our games if there isn't a story being written to go along, I guess I'll share here: I finally finished the Baby Boomer Challenge from last year.   8)  I got bored originally and quit as soon as the household filled up, but I think my sim-management skills have improved because this was really fun and not that big of a deal.

Darin and Kellee Fink wound up with 10 sons (Darin, Jr., Hunter, Henry, Hayden, Hudson, Harrison, Hector, Holden, Hugo and Harley) and 7 daughters (Baker, Hannah, Hailey, Harper, Hadley, Hazel and Harmony.)  12 of the 17 kids moved out, Darin and Kellee completed their LTWs and when I add in the five remaining kids at home, my score would have been 54.  A lot better than my original score of 8!  I learned a lot of valuable lessons my future sims will benefit from, even in smaller families.

Anyway, just wanted to share.   :P

He looks rather careless/clueless

Needless to say he hurt his hand

I forced this guy into a tomb by pranking a toilet, but the time he got there he was exhausted and very smelly

I have no clue why this happened

He was pranked by his girlfriend

Johnathon Kreekay sure did hurt his shoulder

I think she's neurotic

Ghost telling a ghost story :D

After her husband died on their wedding day she had cross eyes very very often!

I know that the "Panic!" action is standard for any sim trapped in a fire, but it is rather amusing when the subject is the Emperor of Evil and begins glowing when you tell him to run.

That's a really beautiful shot, Ricalynn. It looks like the Moon is wearing a bow.  :)
