Thanks for the replies. So will it disappear like those rabbits and deers do, in the void? Oh, the homeless people go in the void too. ???

Anyway, I thought this looked beautiful. It's somewhat rare for me to see fog in Twinbrook (just re-purchased Ambitions) -

Wow, that is beutifull, I think this is slightly off topic, but I tend to always see fog in Twinbrook.  Everyday and all day. ???  My game is either weird or my eyes are weird.

There are two parts to Twinbrook's fog.

1. The fog emitter, which is an effect available when building a world. In Twinbrook, they're place on the ground in certain spots (the cemetery, the swamps, etc.) to create fog on the ground. This is visible no matter what, and probably what you're seeing.

2. The fog in Priyansh's screenshot is a result of the sky parameters in TB's world files. It's a little hard to explain, but there is a file you can toy around with for a world that, among many other things, can control the sky conditions/clouds. In spite of a weather EP just being speculation, worlds can get cloudy/foggy days based on these settings already. I think that Twinbrook has a higher chance of showing a cloudy sky than, say, Sunset Valley. These chances are tunable, though I don't know how to tune them in an already-existing world.

I remember seeing a post a long time ago about fog, but I'm  not sure what thread it was in or who posted it.

Basically, there's supposed to be a slider in CAW that adjusts the amount of fog you see. Sunset Valley is at the minimum end and Bridgeport is at the middle. Maximum would be full coverage which would probably blot out the sun and make it always dark.

I can't see the image, it says I have to register, but the picture it gave me isn't one of a de-saturated camera but a yellow Frog in an ice cube.

I just had the most hectic sim day that I have ever played in my legacy. I started off by marrying off one of my spares (Dylan), conceiving a nooboo and buying Dylan, his new wife Sammi and their unborn child a house and moving them out, using up nearly all of my household funds. Then it was time to age up Dylan's father Elias to elder, and to sort his hair and clothes out as he aged up looking hideous. I then got the whole household off to bed, just in time for the cat to have her appointment with the Grim Reaper out in the garden. Whilst the entire household were all weeping and wailing for Misty, Grim decides to tidy up the toys in the house ::)

How's your Graphics Settings? There's a setting called "Draw Distance" (I think) which controls how far you can see into the world. This is what you're seeing, I believe. I have it set to high, if I recall correctly, so I almost never see this.

I didn't know jet black was a skin tone choice in the sims.

That is his skintone and not some temporary textures glitch.

The Grim Reaper has a skintone like that when downloaded from the Exchange. If that's not him, then I don't know how he got it.

It can happen if you choose a third-party, non-default skin for a sim and then uninstall it. The sims will have no skintone data, hence turning black.

Trust me, I've tried. ;)

I've never had any CC or mods, or downloaded anything off the exchange, yet I've seen sims with the black skintone in my games ( other than the grim ).

The black skintone is actually a sign of corruption as well as for the Grim Reaper because I don't think when they originally programmed him they thought he needed one.    That's why it's generally not a great idea to use the actual Grim for breeding purposes as it could cause problems eventually in your game.  Doesn't make it any less cool though.

Would editing grimmy in CAS and giving him a skin tone prevent any corruption as a result of his no skintone?

You could edit him if you wanted but then he really wouldn't be what people would recognize as the grim reaper anymore.   As soon as you edit him or he ages up, he loses his normal outfit and there is no way to get it back that I've seen.

He has a really normal face, anyways. Without his black skin, he looks like any immigrant into town. And getting immigrants is a ton easier.
