Store content patch

I installed the patch and now some of my store content has disappeared. It was there pre-patch.

All of my store content is still there, and I don't know anything about a pre-patch.

Mine locked up on me when I got that message, so the box is stuck on screen and I can't play my game.  

Same here.  I can't get the patch to install or to go away or anything else.  I've restarted 3 times.  It just won't work for me and it won't let me play the game.

Edit:  I finally got it to work by clicking on the icon for Outdoor Living instead of the Sims3 icon that I usually click to start the launcher.  I have no idea why it worked one way and not the other, but if anyone else is having trouble, maybe try doing this.

Well, am finally able to download things that would get stuck on my game. Just wouldn't load all the way and now it's super fast! It takes seconds to load, I've downloaded 16 things that I haven't uploaded to my game since my re-install, it's so smooth.

I'm confused.  For the people like me who have zero CC, does this patch lock up the game?  I haven't tried to play today and would like to know before I start.  If I have absolutely no store content, no downloads, no CC or whatever, will I have problems caused by this one-second patch?

It seems to only be affecting some people, I was able to play after the Patch but others were not.

I am able to play after the patch and I have no CC or mods, just store content. Also this didn't even appear for my sister.

I had to close several open programs before I could install the patch. It was a really quick install, and I didn't see it actually affect anything. (The Free Cellar Arch still makes the wall alongside wonky).

The game didn't act weird after the install for me. Yet.

Hmmm, I downloaded it just now and the completion message came up immediately afterwards. Then I clicked Refresh under the Game Updates tab and the message came up again like I hadn't just downloaded it. I'm not sure if this thing has any real content to it?

I was able to play normally after patching.

I'm still confused  .  The first time I logged in today, I got a patch notice exactly like the one grimsoul posted in his original post.  I was leery, having read this thread.  I clicked on the "See Patch Notes" link and noticed that a new tab opened, but it did not have a title.  I clicked on "No" and the tab went away along with the patch message.  I was able to log in as if none of this had happened.

I've since exited and re-entered the game several times and have never again been asked if I want to download the patch.  Not one to look for trouble, I've just let it slide.

Of course, we have a new Challenge starting in a few days.  I suppose if this is a real patch, I'll have to search for and download it, but for now, at least, it is as if it never happened.  Maybe it was a mistake and has since been taken down?

...am I the only one who does not get a notification of a store content patch?

My launcher only prompts me to install the 1.25 patch.
I doubt this would fix my store problems (VampirePlasma's link lead to a page telling it only being about meshes&textures) but it's a bit odd it's not on my launcher at all... maybe because my game is 1.19? (still, the launcher *does* give a pop up on any other available update)

I think they threw this out as a patch to Hidden Springs. I have had nothing but problems after downloading Hidden Springs from their store. Stalled movements, can't travel, etc. I wish I never had downloaded the thing; because before, my sims travelled without problems!!!!!

So, how do I get rid of Hidden Springs, and still keep it (since I PAID for it)!!!

This patched fixed the phone that came free when you buy generations and register the code at the store, well, it fixed it for me anyway.
Before the patch, the phone was just the phone stand with no phone on it, and you couldn't click it but now you can.
The phones called 'Vintage rotary phone'. I wonder what eles it fixed?

I think the patch was meant for "Hidden Springs"; but, my game still has glitches after "paying" and downloading the new town.
