I haven't had problems with overheating (and I do put my laptop on a fan pad when I play) but I decided it couldn't hurt to check the fps, which never got higher than 97.  Still I figured I might as well put keep it at 60, so I followed the instructions here to keep it at 60 (in the Nvidia card control panel).  I guess it can't hurt to keep it lower! Thanks for the instructions!

On problem I had was not knowing what vsync was exactly, but I found it eventually!

152 fps is way to high,  vsync and tripple buffering must both be on.
It will lock the fps on 60 fps. That is ok, 152 fps will harm your card.

Will do, thank you for your help!
