I know that. That will be my last job that I take. I want to max out all the branches also. I'm wondering how you choose which branch you go to.

It's just a matter of which branch appeals to you the most. For example, in the Music career, I always choose the Rock branch just because I like that side. It just seems to fit me. And keep in mind that different branches have different metrics, so think of that when looking at your Sims traits and lifetime rewards that may benefit their advancement.

If you have the famous reward and can hold an autograph sessions, then that never disappears. People know you already.

I found that even if you quit a job, you can still wear the uniform from previous jobs.

You can still hold autograph sessions if you retire, but I'm not sure about if you quit.  It's part of the career itself, not just that people know you.  If you're not in the career, you probably won't get to hold autograph sessions.  They are set up by your agent and you get paid money for doing them.

I'm thinking about making my sim an elder, then having him get the benefits from every job, then retiring. Can you retire without being old?

I've never had a non-Elder get the Retire wish, so I'm pretty sure the answer is no.

Dang. Oh well, I can just make my sim an elder. I'm playing with aging off.

Not only can you only retire an elder, you can only retire from one career.  If you start a new career after retiring, you lose the retirement money and benefits.

That sucks a lot. I wish I could keep the benifits from every job.

I had a guy who was first a Rock Star (where he became famous), then a Top Chef and lived the remaining part of his life as the leader of the free world. All through his life he could and did hold autograph sessions on a regular basis just as he could do when he was a Rock Star. The thing he did lose though was the ability to play concerts for money.

Well, maybe once they become famous, people still will want their autograph so they still hold sessions, kind of like it would be in real life.

As those non-celebrities who make people always ask themselves how on Earth could those people be famous 30 years after a butter commercial.

I for one am disappointed over this retirement! My Founder got like a 400 a day when he was earning over a 1000 for a few hours, add a couple of meetings thats like 2000 a day.
