Unable to go back to my oirignal household after using "change active household"

I used Edit town and change active household because I wanted to make another Sim on another house get pregnant from her Fiance.After I was done I saved and went to Edit town again and choose chnage active household and chose my original house and clicked the "blue right mark" but it just made nothing , I just remained there with this small window opened telling me to hit go back if I want to choose another household or click Ok to play right now and both go back and OK were no more availlable to be clicked !! and it did not take my back to my original house.
I really need to go back to that house and play it. I have been playing it for TOO LONG it is a very long history and I have more than a million simleons on my household funds and I have built that his on my own starting from nothing at all till I made it like a palace.Please help me and tell me how to play my original home!

Is it possible that they moved out when you werent controlling them?

No they are there in the house.I checked before clicking change active household I clicked on the house and saw them in the house details screen everyone of them was still there.

Are you sure that you have choose households selected and not move in a family?

Yes I chose "choose a household"

I solved it and Thanks for those who tried to help.
@Aussette , I was really in a shock and in a hurry so I didn't concentrate where I was putting the topic or what was the title! All I needed was some help and after that I was going to change it and apologize for where I posted it!

Please go ahead and use the modify button on the first post to change the subject.  We still need to have this thread correctly labeled even though you've solved your problem.  Please also be more mindful in the future and be sure to put an accurate title on all of the topics you start.  Thanks very much.
