House: Panorama Townhouse

Lot Size: 30x30
Bedrooms: 3 (beds for 3-6 Sims)
Bathrooms: 3
Furnished Cost: $65,702
Items: WA, AMB, LN, no store content

We here at Yellow Lily Realty & Construction would like to extend our deepest appreciation for the chance to once again showcase our newest homes for you.

Today we have a large townhouse to show you, which our builders have completed not 12 hours ago. This home sits on a large town lot and has the perfect blend of modern lines and traditional coziness. Every room in the house has a fabulous view of the outside world through abundant massive windows unobstructed by curtains, yes even the bathrooms! The yard is minimally landscaped to keep with the minimalist theme you'll notice in the interior design. The house is built over a basement that features a spacious 2-car garage and storage room.

Here are the floor plans so you can follow along as we tour the interior of this house.

Main Floor:

Second Floor:

The entry flows seamlessly into the dining and living areas, around the corner into the kitchen (complete with top-of-the-line stainless steal appliances), and out onto the back patio.

A quiet den is nestled behind the stairs and has a view of the backyard.

Upstairs you'll find a large landing with room for everyone's favorite activities. Currently you'll find a small band area set up.

Three large double bedrooms are found off the landing, each decorated in it's own colours and patterns. One bedroom has an en-suite bath while the second bath can be found by the stairs to the roof terrace. Here is one of the bedrooms up close.

Also, have a peek into one of the bathrooms and enjoy the view that even these rooms have.

We hope you enjoyed the tour of our latest creation at Yellow Lily Realty & Construction. If you wish to own this one-of-a-kind design simply click on link for the Panorama Townhouse page in our corner of the Swap Shop.

Although both of your homes are nice, are you allowed to enter twice or more?  :-\
You did that nice modern one a little bit back and now this.

Also, feel free to request a home by PMing me! Always happy to help.

Hey guys I'm taking an extended hiatus... again. I'm out of ideas to build houses and I don't have as much fun designing homes like I used to; it feels more like a chore. So that's where I'll be, I will probably be back sometime. :P

Nothing in either of the rule sets states that we are restricted to one entry. I checked.

You're right about that. I'm still unsure as to allow it or not though, ideally I had only one entry per person in mind but as you say I didn't specify in the rules... It does benefit those who have the time to build a second entry over those who don't. I'll talk to Lily about it and see what she thinks. So for everyone else, until I get back to you stick to only one entry for now. Sorry this is an error on my part, I wasn't expecting anyone to be so enthusiastic as to built two entries!

@Chuckles- Correct me if I'm wrong, but are the front door and the counters you used in the downstairs bathroom store items? You can only use store items that are free.

I'm pretty sure you're right. I'm not so sure about the door but the counters are definitely store items.

Sorry, you're right. They don't show up in my game as store content, but I double checked the store, and they are. I don't know why, mabe because I have so much store stuff. I'll fix it and re-upload.

EDIT: All fixed up. Thankyou to those who have let me know the things I have missed. I'm currently in the process of sorting my store content into two folders: Free and Not Free. That way I can remove the 'Not free' content before building next time!

Thankyou Thomas for considering allowing my second entry. May I suggest that you allow others two entries as well for this competition, and then from this point forward all new competitions are only one entry? That way no one else is disadvantaged, and I haven't wasted my inspiration and a whole day's work :)

Of course, I don't consider any of the other entries to be disadvantaged, because they are all very high quality :)

Hmm.. I did want to someday begin one of the building contests but if we are allowed two entries, I don't think I would, as I barely have the time for one. (That's why I'm only considering taking part right now, anyways) Letting people choose to build two houses does give a disadvantage to those who only have time to build one, as those who have built two are more likely to win. But as Chuckles said, we wouldn't want all of that work to go to waste, so perhaps only allow the two entries this time, as there wasn't actually a rule that said only one house? Just giving my two cents. :)

Just a heads up to all builders still wanting to submit their lot: the contest closing date has changed from Sept 9 to Sept 8. This has been done so that all building contests will start on a Friday instead of Saturday, as this one did. Please post your submission by 11:59pm your local time on Thursday, Sept 8. The rules in the first post have been changed to reflect this.

Thomas and I are still discussing the issue of more than one lot submission per member, check back for an update about that later.

Please, no further discussion in this thread, it's supposed to be for entry submission only. If concerns come up please PM them to samoht04 or lilygirl and we will deal with whatever it is. Thank you.
