Building Contest 1 - A Town House


You must read the Rules and Instructions Thread first, if you haven't already.



Your Task:
    To build a standard town house (Not an Apartment), it has to look right in a town or city situation, imagine it being amongst shops and other venues, what you do with the inside is up to you completely.

Specifications:
  • Can house Four Sims, you chose the ages. (Do not add any Sims)
  • Your budget is $70,000, you don't have to spend it all.
  • It must be on a 30x30 Lot.

Contest Start Date: August 26, 2011  
Contest End Date:  11:59pm September 8, 2011

How to post your entry?
When you post your entry you need to have a name for your House/Lot, it can be as imaginative as you want, you also have to describe your entry, imagine you are trying to sell it to someone, you will need pictures, a maximum of 10 although you can have less, you need to post the Lot size and the price of your entry, this is an example of how you lay it out:

We recieved a question about doing this Contest as an Apartment but we are going to say No to doing them like that, simply because not everyone knows how and also because of the changes in Lot Value from using the Buydebug Markers.

Description:  A Three Story 4 Bedrooms and 4 Bathrooms Student accommodation in the heart of the City, closely situated to the High street as well as the clubs and pubs.  Each bedroom has its own en-suite. There are 4 common areas including a kitchenette on the 2nd floor for those late night study snacks.
Content:  WA, AMB, LN, OLS, HELS, GEN



From the street you can see the impressive original structure.  There is a small court yard at the front of the building which has bike stands and a bench.  There is also a call box which rings in each of the individual bedrooms.



The ground floor has most of the Common rooms



The lounge, to rest after a long day of study.



The main Kitchen area, which also has a washer and dryer as well as a dining area.



The Study which has wireless enabled internet access for your own laptops
