As Seabody said, if you want some ideas try looking on Google Images or if you live near/in a town what do the Houses there in the streets look like, it's those kinds of things I was thinking of but it can be any period as long as it looks right and matches the specs.  :)

Yeah, I know they're those tall narrow houses that are all lined up to each other, I just wanted to make sure because I didn't want to be the odd one out that build the wrong kind of house.

Just to be clear what's your definition of a townhouse, and what things does it require to be one.
I think where I live it's two houses connected to each other. But that seems to be different than what Thomas intends it to be.

I started getting blurry here, when you say must fit the town's theme, you mean towns like sunset valley and Bridgeport, or you mean real towns?

Just to get inspiration. I live out in the country (kind of), and so I have next to no idea what townhouses are meant to look like.

New Rule: Custom Patterns are Not Allowed, this is simply because they do not always transfer well and can look messy once downloaded. (Patterns made in Creat a Pattern)

I think where I live it's two houses connected to each other. But that seems to be different than what Thomas intends it to be.

That's a Terrace but it could also be considered a Town House. By Town House I really mean a House you'd typically find in a Town, so it won't have a huge garden for example.

I started getting blurry here, when you say must fit the town's theme, you mean towns like sunset valley and Bridgeport, or you mean real towns?

I'm sorry it's confusing for everyone. The Town Houses must look like they fit in the centre of a town, in Sims. Which town is up to you or whether you just want to build a House you would find in a town that's fine as well.

Oh, so you mean like an average run of the mill house and not one of these:

I believe if you google "townhouse" it will answer most aesthetic questions. There are a lot of attached townhouses in the images that come up in google so you could, for example in imagleek's picture, just take one section off from the line and build it like a single family home.

When does it end? September 9th Forum Time, or September 9th in our time zone (whatever it may be)? Can we build on September 9th?

Thank you. Where I live town houses (or townhomes) are like imagleek's picture. But I understand now. Thanks.

I hope you make it to! Don't force yourself to rush anything though, there will always be more contests.  :)
