When Lives Touch

We've know each other for years, but we live on opposite sides of the globe. He has come here on vacation several times, and now we are finally going to start our new lives together. He is coming soon, to our new home. We both know what we want our careers to be, I want to be a veterinarian, and he wants to be an engineer in the army. For now, this is our home. Tea anyone?

Authors note: I really hope you guys like this story, i'm planning on co-writing with someone for this story. Soon hurricane Irene will be crossing where I live, so I probably won't have the power and internet to update for at least a couple days. Please keep me in your prayers, I've heard both that it will be huge and small, strong enough to be category 4 and i've also heard that it will be category 2.   So at this point our family isn't sure witch it will be. We will be prepared for the worst.

hello im simlishs boyfriend and she has been stuck in hurricane ilene for a day now and ive had no contact so i hope shes ok

Hey guys I'm back! I made it through the hurricane safely and I should be getting my internet back today or tomorrow. (I am at the library right now if you were wondering lol ) I will try and update as soon as I get it back.

Chapter One: Arrival

Kieran

As I logged off my computer, I continued to pack.



Ticket and passport in hand, I was off to the airport in a taxi. As I boarded the plane, I couldn't stop thinking of her. Beautiful face and eyes, wonderful smile. When I left the plane, there she was. I ran up to her preparing to hug her for the first time. It felt good, to hug the person you loved for so many years, to finally meet her, to settle down, start a family.



When we got to our new home, she looked at me and smiled awkwardly and said "It's not much now, but with a little work it will be a great house for us, for the time being. I am NOT planning on keeping it this way!" I smiled at her and said "Well this will be great for us to spend time together."



After I unpacked my stuff, Beka came in the room. "Hey, do you want to go out somewhere? There is this really nice place on the outskirts of town, it'll be fun." I swear, my smile was a mile wide when I said, " Yah, I'd love to." We took a long ride in a taxi (We haven't bothered buying a car yet) to the place Beka told me about. When we got there I was surprised to see a small pond, and a small fire pit. It was beautiful, and then I knew why she loved it so much.



It was so pretty at night, especially when we got down to s'mores.



"Kieran, I'm really glad you came all the way here, just to be with me. I… I just wanted to give you this as a welcome home present."

Chapter Two: Our New Home

Beka

The rest of the night, we sat next to each other, gazing at the stars. I was so happy, finally to be able to hug him, just being with him gave me butterflies. I loved him, and he loved me.



The next day, we took a long look at our new home, thinking of designs for it.



We thought long and hard, and this is what we came up with:

Dining room/Kitchen on the other side of the family room


Bathroom


Our bedroom

[author's note: After I took the picture I put an end table where the guitar is, stocked with a coffee machine and a mixer. Gotta have their caffeine!]

"The house looks great babe, I love you." said Kieran. We stood there hugging there for a long time, just enjoying each other's warm embrace.



We then got out the instruments that we brought with us. We jammed together, Kieran was so happy with his new keyboard. I played with my old acoustic, and we played together until we realized that we only had a couple of hours before work!



We tried to get sleep, but we ended up talking all night. It was going to be his first day at training, and it was my first day actually working in the office. We were both nervous, so I was glad I had someone to talk to. We ended up having a lot of coffee that morning, I was so buzzed. I couldn't stop fidgeting! I could tell Kieran felt the same way, I could see it in his eyes. "I'm so jittery." I said. He laughed, "Hah! Glad I'm not the only one then." Then his carpool came and I quickly went over the last of my biology notes before mine came.

Author's notes: I tried to make some of those pictures smaller, but they wouldn't change! I hoped you guys like the update, and also I wouldn't mind some constructive criticism on the rooms.I feel like i'm missing something in the bedroom, but I'm not quite sure what. Please comment!
