Oh it's fine it's just I don't want to get in trouble with a mod for my story being off topic.

The mod is here!  Good job keeping your topic in line, Sportsfan.

I saw that Sim named for me and Carl.  Very cute.  Did you misspell his name on purpose, though?

Thanks. And umm… no. I'm just a pretty bad speller. How is it spelled correctly?

He spells it Ratcliff.  I think you spelled it Radcliffe, which I've seen on the Forum when someone was spoofing Carl or something like that.

Pam's post about her and Carl's cameo confirmed it for me: this IS the story I read earlier and though "holy plantcow, I want to read it!"
Seriously, I quite like this.

That was/is Kattiq's Radcliffe (spelling?) dynasty/legacy.

Hey, can you send me the rules for this? It's like Total Drama Island, or whatever it was called.

Yeah I'm actually just going to type it up here so I don't have to keep typing it up. It's actually like survivor. (I love that show!). And how I said earlier it was similar to Annbeifong's big brother idea, well I was typing it up earlier and they actually don't have a lot in common. I'll post the rules in the next post.

Great story! It's inspired me to write up my Big Brother story. :)

Thank you. As I said earlier, I had no idea this would be so popular. People must love free will.

Rules

Setup:

1. Make 8 sims in CAS, 4 of each gender. Any traits are allowed, butthey must be random. And you can ban the mooch trait if you want. Their appearance can be anything, random of you want, or you can make it so that they look dirty if you want.
2. You can put them on any lot, but biggest is bestest.  :) Then make it have two islands, both completely surrounded by water. They should not be able to leave the island. You can use buydebug to put anything on there that you want.
3. Each island needs two of the small tents (if you don't have WA then I guess you can use four of the cheapest single beds) on each island. The only other things allowed on the islands at the start are trees rocks plants etc, and spawners if you want.
4. You are going to need a big basement under the islands to hold all of the food for them. Just have one sim go to the grocery store the first day and buy hundreds of apples, watermelons, and tomatoes.
5. The only food that you may give them is 1 tomato/watermelon/apple a day per sim.
6. The only way they may get to the island is by teleportation.
7. The island will have to be rebuilt when there are only 4-6 sims left. I will post rules later when I get to that.

Rules:

1. You may never queue up an action for a sim. Never. With the sole exception of teleporting onto the island.
2. There are four sims per island, 2 of each gender. They must all be set as housemates.
3. No dragging relationship bars (duh), changing traits, or edit in CAS.
4. All cheats are allowed. (except if disallowed elsewhere)
5. Each night at midnight each tribe shall get 1 apple/tomato/watermelon per sim.
6. Each Monday, at noon, you shall put out the skilling objects. This is where the rules are flexible, you can do it by how many skill points each tribe gains, or by how many things they create (paintings, sculptures etc.). This is personal preference. On Friday at noon the skilling objects will be taken away. This is where you award the immunity talisman to the winning tribe. Noone on that tribe will leave the island when it is in their posession.
7. The losing tribe will vote one person out, the person on their tribe that they have the lowest relationship with.

Notes: after a couple weeks, there will be a merge, but I'm not sure exactly when, and when I figure it out I'll change the rules accordingly.

So, any questions?
