You have to buy it a Store now I think, I don't know why they stopped doing it on the Store, I guess it was taking a lot of space or something to host it like they did.

Ah Okay, I'll save it for hidden springs, will I be able to buy that in the sims 3 store?

I hope so!  I am planning on buying the new world when it comes out from the store.  I don't see why not.

I did not know they changed the way you could purchase BB.  You would think they would offer it both ways.  Now you could always ask for it for your birthday. :)

And does barnacle bay appear in the sims 3 launcher or the 'Origin downloader'?

I just looked at it in the Store and it doesn't look like you can purchase it online anymore.  The Redeem Code is probably a code that you get when you purchase the game at a retail store.  That's one of the goofiest things I've seen, but that's apparently how they're handling it now.

Seriously? How come BB pops up as a daily deal now and then? Or maybe it won't anymore?

I've been waiting for it to be a daily deal, checking it every day... too bad! It's just silly, in my opinion, to go to a store & buy an empty DVD case to get a code!! What a waste! I think I won't be buying it only because of the stupidity of shipping empty DVD cases to stores (propably from abroad, too, to my country) to sell just to get a download code...  :(

Wow that's some weird marketing they would really profit from offering it online rather than only the DVD method. And then they're declaring that they are going digital.

And there even isn't a DVD disc. There's a tiny print on the packaging: "does not contain DVD disc". I guess theres just a piece of paper with a code in it - I don't understand why they couldn't just sell the code online?

Perhaps it's just a test to see if people like this method or not, only time will tell.

Yeah I was planning on buying it a few weeks ago but then discovered that I couldn't which really annoyed me. Maybe they have taken it of the website so more people will download the new world.

I have BB and I got it via silly code in an empty box. You enter your code and then it downloads just like any other store content--just like Riverview--and I imagine that Hidden Springs will also be the same, except you'll be able to purchase it online.
