I know Grams got married infront of the mailbox, but I'm not keeping that tradition. Laurel and I hired some wedding planners, and they fixed up a little place in the front yard.
Than Laurel changed into a beautiful dress, she said she got it from Rachel, and I of course changed into my suit. Here we are right before saying I do. You can clearly see the mailbox in this shot, so I guess I kinda kept the tradition lol.
One tradition of Grams I'm not going to be able to keep, is the stone hands in the center of the arch. Before you ask why, I'll tell you! The kinds of arches Grams and them used, that was possible, but with the arches now, the bride and groom stand in the middle, so no room for the hands.
Anyways, after all that, it's time for the vows. Here Laurel is sliding the ring on my finger. Her voice was strong and sure as she said "I promise to love you for as long as we both shall live, I, Laurel Grisby take Wyatt Halliwell as my beloved husband, to have and to hold til death do us part."
Um, oopps I think I forgot to tell her about the Dynasty. No matter, our love is so strong, I know she won't be mad. As I gazed into her eyes, I said "I promise to love you no matter what and I, Wyatt Halliwell take Laurel Grisby as my beloved wife, my shining star, the light and love of my life until death do us part."
At least I never lied to her, she will be my one and only for the rest of her life. As our lips met for the first time as a married couple, I felt powerful, it may seem strange, but her love makes me feel like I'm the most powerful guy in the world, like I can do anything.
Than, we went over to the table to cut the cake, and my poor wife got confused or something, I stood waiting for her, and she started saying I was in her way, and stomping her little feet, it was almost humorous, if she hadn't looked so upset that is. I finally gave up, even though she was standing right there!! Anyways, we finally got some cake and sat down to enjoy it together.
One of Grams traditions that I refuse to give up, is the dance. I am proud to introduce
Mr. and Mrs. Wyatt Halliwell in our first dance as a married couple.
This is funny, but during our dance, we got a pop-up that told us today was graduation day, so my wife graduated high school! Lol humorous thing is watching a married woman toss her diploma! But it's all good, she got voted most likely to fulfill her lifetime wish, and I have faith she will.
That's all for this time, now me and my beautiful wife are going to spend some quality time together.
