Corrections/Additions for Snob/No Sense of Humor traits.

No sense of humor is actually VERY useful. The 'Having a Blast' moodlet is capped at 8 hours for every other trait combo I've tried, but for sims with No Sense of Humor, it caps at 15 Hours. Give this to a writer, to an astronaut, to any sim in a stressful career, and they'll still be amused by the time they get home. There may be no lifetime wishes, but it isn't as if sims can only have 1 trait.

Also, with nectar snobs get more of a boost than other sims. I tested this with a husband and wife. Husband drank nectar, thought it was nice, got a good moodlet, but his wife acted as if she were a professional wine taster from the first glass. As the husband drank more he eventually was at the level of tasting his wife had started at, but he never received the extra boost she always did from a good glass. The downside is that she was more sensitive to crappy nectar as well, and was more prone to getting a bad moodlet, or no moodlet if the nectar was crappy.

Snobs also get a couple extra buffs from mirrors, and also one from fireplaces.

Both of these are useful 'buff' traits that deserve more attention than you've given them, much like neurotic.

Yep, thanks for the heads up on these. I should probably correct No Sense of Humor to say that it makes fun drop faster, which would be the effect we're seeing with the 15 hours. Very interesting indeed. I'll fix both of these in the next round of updates.

My Snob sim would rather check herself out in a mirror than eat.

Happy to be of assistance.

These would actually be good family traits for a legacy, because they don't have careers or such attached to them.

@Lost Girls, yeah, I've noticed that. I use awesomemod and whenever I've stuck a snob on supreme commander, they'll automatically go to the mirror instead of whatever task I've assigned them. I think it's because of the buffs, but it's annoying.

Welcome to the forum Tiana!

Snobs and mirrors are as bad as Loves the Outdoors and Sprinklers.

Heheh, yes of course. At any rate, the page has been updated. Maybe more people will check out these traits, especially no sense of humor.
