Humor Novels?

Does anyone know what happens when a "no sense of humour" sim writes a humour novel?  I would expect they wouldn't be very good at it, but I'm wondering if anyone has tried this.

I think at one point if you have a No Sense of Humor Sim the option would be to "Write Dry Humor" Novel, like some would say, because it's kind of like with Daredevil Sims... "Take an EXTREME Shower" maybe.

Do you think a "dry humour" novel would be a hit or a flop?  With all the people in this forum now, I thought someone would have tried this.  I may have to revive my "no sense of humour" bookworm and give it a try.

I don't think there's a real option to write a Dry Humor Novel.  They're just speculating on possibilities.

Yes, unfortunately I don't know for sure, but it sounds right! Why else would someone take an extreme shower when there is no option to write a dry humor novel!? Heh.

I modified the traits of one of my current author sims to include "no sense of humor".  I clicked on the computer and I had the option to write a humor novel.  I wrote it and it wasn't even a flop, it was a hit.  The only thing I'm wondering about is whether or not the option to write a humor novel comes later to a sim with no sense of humor.  Seems possible, so I'll give it a try on a new character.

Test complete.  My sim had the following traits:  No sense of humor, hates outdoors, loner, neat, and kleptomaniac.  She unlocked humor novels at level 5.

On a side note, I love these pet projects    Can't wait to find more stuff to test.
