Hello little girls no offense to Jeremy but I am hoping that they take after their mummy.

Rachel

Oh, me too. Planet of the Apes was fun while it lasted, but I'd like pretty sims now, thanks. Heehee.

Ch. 9: Kerri and Kassy

Nooboos! Katrina is the main caretaker of the two of them. She loves her little ones.

And when Katrina goes to sleep, Jeremy takes a break from writing to spend some time with them, especially Kerri.

The girls' birthday quickly arrives, and Katrina throws a big party. This is when I remember that one of Katrina's sisters is named Kerri! No wonder that name stuck in my head when I was picking baby names. Kerri has pretty blue eyes, so maybe I'm thinking that Jeremy should have married her. :-\ She's only a couple days older than Katrina.

However, it's cake time! First Kerri then Kassy.

The girls turned out beautiful! Kerri has her dad's hair and her momma's eyes.

Kassy has blue eyes and her mother's hair. I'm thinking she's going to look just like her Aunt Kerri.

By this time, Katrina's maternity leave is up, so she goes back to work and Jeremy takes care of the twins during the day. They must be working on bringing the dinosaurs back.

He teaches Kerri and Kassy to talk.

Katrina tries to spend time with the girls when she's home from work, but she also has to work on her skills. She gardens before work, comes home to play with the kiddies, then goes in the basement to work on her Logic skill. Since my theory of gifting didn't work, I want to have a Young Again potion in the house just in case.

And here's a bonus shot of Kerri for you guys. She's going to be the heir, although I really wish she'd gotten her sister's eyes.

The kid years are coming up. Kerri is going to be a cook, so be prepared for a bake sale! Also, thank you everyone for following! The Peddlers are almost at 500 views. :D

Well, if we all remember correctly, Jenny was a pretty cute toddler, but she turned out terrible!

I still have hope for the twins, but I think Kassy will turn out to be prettier than Kerri. Kassy looks so much more like her mother, and Kerri has the Peddler nose, straight from Penny.

Very true, Rachel. Kerri will go on to eventually produce pretty nooboos of her own! :)

Ch. 10: Everybody's Growing Up

Yay, update time! First on the list is Jeremy. I gave him a Mid-Life Crisis and added Bookworm and Neurotic. He is now those two plus Family-Oriented, Born Salesman, and Artistic. Look at him Freak Out by the mailbox, awwwww.

His birthday is here too. He's an old man now.

Then the girls have their child birthdays. First Kerri then Kassy.

They love each other very much. Or at least they love to beat on each other with pillows. I promise they're not filled with bricks.

Katrina has been needing to work on her Handiness skill for the Science Career, so she upgrades the dishwasher. It keeps breaking all the time.

And look at this little fellow. Katrina got an opportunity to upgrade a stereo for her mother-in-law Penny. Turns out that Jenny has had a son! His name is Conrad Peddler. His father is Zachary Gaskins! Remember when Jenny was tutoring him while working on her Logic skill? Ah, I love story progression. Also, Zachary has taken on Jenny's last name, yet Jenny is still living with her mother and Zachary is not living with them.

So, I mentioned that Kerri is going to be a cook. She starts working on her skills and hosts a couple bake sales. They turn out to be rather successful with a lot of customers.

At one of the sales, this friendly looking girl shows up. She is another one of the twins' cousins. Her name is Lakisha Barbee. She's the daughter of Kerri Barbee, Katrina's sister. However, she's a vampire and has really creepy bright pink eyes.

Then it's Katina's Adult birthday. It was rather uneventful. :-\

But then the girl's teen birthdays arrive the day after! And what an event it is. Kerri goes to blow out her candles, and a fire breaks out on the porch!

She still ages up happy, though. Her new trait is Ambitious.

And next we have Kassy. No fires this time.

And lastly a picture of the two girls on the school bus the next morning. Kassy is definitely the prettier of the two, but at least we don't have another Jenny.

Also, Jeremy has written two Masterpieces so far. I'm getting a little worried that he may not write enough in time for moving. So I'm going to take two precautions. Katrina is going to start growing a small amount of Life Fruit so he can stay alive for only a few days at a time until he gets his Masterpieces done (then he can die for the grave requirement). And I'm going to have Kassy learn the Martial Arts skill so I can always use gems as a back up. Jeremy has a Moodlet Manager now, though, so as long as I keep him constantly writing, he might be okay.

Ch. 11: Just Wasting Time

Hmmm, where to start. How about Kassy getting arrested?! Yep. I sent her to the spa early one morning before school and halfway through it (and $3000 later) a cop shows up to tell her she's out past her curfew... at 5 in the morning. That made me pretty angry.

Oh, and it made Jeremy angry too, but he directed his anger towards Kassy and not the policeman.

Oh, and remember Conrad Peddler, Jenny's son? Well, here he is as a teen. He's turned out pretty rough, genetics wise. Is he biting his lip or something?

Meanwhile, Katrina has achieved her lifetime wish of Become a Creature-Robot Crossbreeder. She has also been working on getting some Life Fruit into her garden, which Jeremy appreciates. He's 80 now, so I'm feeding him a Life Fruit every now and them just to keep him alive to get his 10 Masterpieces written.

And since I'm not sure that Jeremy will ever get his books finished, I send him and Kassy on a short trip to China. Jeremy purchases the LTR Prepared Traveler, so the two are gone for 6 days. That counts as 12 according to the rules and I didn't use any vacation days from the first household, so I still have 8 left. While on vacation, Jeremy mainly works on his Masterpieces. He's only finished 4 of them.

And Kassy? She works on her Martial Arts skill. I'm going to use her gems from board breaking as a backup to Jeremy's novels. I really don't want to fail at this challenge! As you can tell, Kassy isn't very good at this whole kicking thing yet. She doesn't want to mess up her pedicure, but she insists on kicking with her one manicured foot. You know, the lady at the spa never got to finish her other foot.

Kassy slowly gets better, though.

...and worse.

But thanks to the Moodlet Manager, she keeps going all hours of the day and night.

As a result, she quickly progresses through her belts and is at level 10 by the last day of the trip.

Oh, I guess we should go back to Jeremy. He still seems to be writing.

And he's freaking out a little bit, because he's afraid he won't be able to write enough books. He did manage to write two more while on vacation, though. I had Katrina make him a bunch of Sleeping Elixers, so he wouldn't need much sleep while on vacation. I only have one Moodlet Manager, and I thought Kassy would make more use out of it.

Back to Kassy, she's just finished the Break 150 Boards skill challenge. I can't remember what it's really called, haha.

And shortly after, she breaks her first Space Rock. By the end of the trip, she has amassed quite a few gems.

That's it for now, everybody! I was a bit disappointed with the newest of my ideas, though. When I sent Jeremy and Kassy to Shang Simla, Jeremy was very close to finishing one of his novels. I was hoping that receiving a novel while on vacation would increase its value upon returning home, but it didn't. I also ordered copies of all his older novels while on vacation, because I thought the value would increase on those too but no luck! Jeremy has a total of 6 Masterpieces done now. I'll definitely be needing to Moodlet Manage him 24/7 from now til he either dies or is done! And Kassy will be keeping her gems from now on.

Yeah, she must have really strong genetics or something. I'm hoping Conrad will have a child at some time in the future so I can see how well the genetics still carry on.

O my goodness that pic of Jenny's son make me laugh poor guy!

No kidding! I was actually waiting outside to see what the selection was for teenage boys, and then Conrad walked out. I just had to take a picture.
