Ghost problem

I have a ghost on my lot that died from a fire. I let it haunt my lot because I wanted to get my handiness skill up. When I came back from work, it was still haunting the lot. It won't go back into it's grave and is there all the time. It isn't playable either.

There is no logical reason your game should act like that.

Ha! Sims isn't logical.

I've tried putting ambrosia near it, but she doesn't even care.

I can't get rid of the grave either. I don't want to cheat to get rid of it, so is there any other way?

Try
ResetSim "Firstname Lastname"
(Use the sim's name it is case sensitive)

I did. Still didn't work. The ghost isn't that bad, it just scares everyone away. I think my sim has gotten use to it. I still want it gone though.

Try the resetting again.  Be very careful that you type it exactly as I show here, using the capital letters in the same place:

resetSim Firstname Lastname

Alright. I didn't use caps before. I know one thing that the ghost is good for. Stopping sims from taking my perfect plants.

There we go. The ghost is back to being normal. I'm curious on how it stayed and didn't go back to its grave.

Things just get buggy and glitchy sometimes.  No real reason for it.  But I'm glad the reset worked for you!

I am to. The only bad thing now is that other sims are taking my life perfect life fruit and peppers.

That must be something new to the game.  I've never had anyone come harvest from my garden!

I didn't either. I had my garden out back. The sims that took something, I had invited them in. They were my best friends, so I think that's wht they took some.
