Nor will you send them a text or play a game of dominos with them!

How about bringing children to a large community lot after 22:00? Even if they're still on the same lot as their adult chaperon, they drop what they're doing and follow the adult if they happen to be on a certain distance away from them. Thankfully, it doesn't seem to happen with teens. They still need an adult on the lot so they're not considered to be breaking curfew, but having the adult play darts on one side of the lot and the teen play pool on the other is just fine. But my kids need some independence too!
That is really annoying. Like crazy annoying.

Oh man, that drives me nuts too. And the kids can't even "Go Home" it's always "Follow _____." I wish we could cancel the action in favor of go home so I'm not wasting my time with this kid who is running all around the lot following someone.

This also drove me nuts to the point of resort to just reset the kid to make the kid at home ASAP and the adult continue what he have to do. (This guy was suppose to socializing his boss to get promotion)

Also, the "witnessed a breakup" moodlet is obnoxious. I had that one recently on an infant. A just-born-a-day-earlier infant. How can they even figure out what's going on? Toddlers I could understand that - infants? No.
I learn it the hard way on the Goth pairs when I broke them up. The negative mood plus his grumpiness totally make it for the most annoying sim to interact with. (nothing I could do in that time span that could lift up his mood AT ALL)
Since then I always put the pair that's ready for break up in a room and look the room for everyone before hit it all the way.
I agree though, witness break-up on infant is a bit too extreme, EA.  ;)

Something I have noticed recently - both of my Sims have the "celebrity" status (although recently I have turned off the active household option for celebrity status). But once in a while when I have tasks set for my female Sim, in-between doing some of those task she runs to wherever my male Sim is on the lot and either cheers or boos him, then goes back to whatever it is that I wanted her to do to begin with. Why does that happen? And is there anything I can do to get her to stop doing that? It's time consuming especially if I am on a short time-frame for some tasks. This is very annoying for me - any suggestions?  :-\

How about removing your male sim celebrity status via 'testingcheats'?

I believe once you have the cheat typed in, Shift-Clicking on your Sim you should get the option to change their Celebrity Level and how many "points" you have towards a level.

So, I tried this on both of my Sims, but it's still happening  :( Maybe it's permanent? Or could it have something to do with the fact that my husband Sim has his own band? That's the only other thing I could think of after trying what you suggested :)

Any other ideas? LOL

Heckling is a thing that just happens. I have gotten hecklers on non-celebrity sims.

Well, now, at makes sense lol. Thanks for clarifying - it's still extremely annoying, but I appreciate the clarification :)

I've been running a test file for a challenge with celebrity turned completely off. My painter still gets heckled for no apparent reason. Maybe the heckler hates art.

Well, I read this entire thread! Whew. Have to agree with all the annoying things. For me, the pathing and foot stamping dance is so annoying. And maids/butlers/babysitters for sure!
