That the game is so buggy I find it almost unplayable without mods.  I want to enter one of the upcoming challenges, but I have had a terrible time getting the game to work properly in practice games without mods.  So much freezing and crashing and vacations being weird and stray pets showing up when I have set the game to not populate them...I'm giving up on the official contests and just playing them on my own to see how I do.  But it makes me a little sad to not be able to do it officially just because the game needs help.

When I see my simself is died on fire while I am playing other family... I have seen it with my own eyes, that's too sad and kinda annoying too. Oh, and suddenly when the sims can't be controlled for unknown reason, they just freeze and keep like that until I use the cheat to "reset" the sims I had. And then, about missing sims when the parent on vacation too is annoying.

and... hmm... I forgot what else I want to write here, but... above that all, error 12 is the worst.

M insane sim can't get the energy bar filled during a full moon.  He keeps waking up every couple of hours to freak out about the full moon!

A new annoying thing for me is in the mysteries (for The Sims 3 Pets PS3) you have to be friends with someone and the person is a snob and every time you say something she yawns and slowly becomes your enemy.  The only thing I found was that she gave positive reaction with only chat so I kept chatting with her and before that I had the happiness reward of "never dull" so she wouldn't find chat boring.

If this is the one that you get when trying to Save and Quit, then do a Save or Save As... first. Once it's saved, then when you quit, hit Just Exit.

Ever since I started doing this, I haven't seen any save errors.

This annoys the ever living heck out of me.

When my celeb sim loses friends [including her own SON] as a consequence for woohooing with her genie HUSBAND [who happens to be the father of all her kids]. I can see consequences for cheating but for something like this... well there are things that I want to say that are better off unsaid.

Way to go.
Edit: Is there a mod to fix this?

This drives me nuts too.  It is really messing with my Lifestates test file.

I think I have seen the file that modifies what causes celebrities to get disgraced. It definitely could be modded if there isn't one already.

If you don't mind, I'll forward this to Twallan. See if they could do anything about it.

Any particular reason you need to have celebrity turned on for the active household (career, perks, just want to)?

I turned it off for my Life States, as I didn't feel like dealing with that. Plus, if it's in the privacy of my sim's own home, I don't know that it'd be appropriate to suddenly make it common knowledge (if it were out in public, sure).

I never have celebrity on unless I'm in Bridgeport, possibly Starlight Shores as well depending on the game, it just doesn't fit with a country town like Riverview where I mostly play, if I could I'd just give it to Jon Lessen, he's the only one who fits the celeb bill there being a rock star in a big house.

As for annoyances my latest one is weddings, in sims 2 I always did the full works, wedding party, arch, champagne and it always went well. Sims 3 up until generations I mostly did private weddings but now with arches and cakes I do a party. This is where the annoyance comes in, it's not the guests as they do as expected it's the family who misbehave.

My first dynasty wedding all the in-laws literally stood up and turned their backs on it, then gen 2 just got married and once more the family stop watching and start wandering off, her mother and aunt both got phone calls so stopped watching to answer those, and her father started chatting to her uncle stopping him watching as well  ::)

I wish there was a watch wedding interaction you could use on them, if only so you can get pictures that don't look as if they are all leaving mid wedding.

Aside from the perks, not really.
But I think if it happens again I'm going to disable it.

I keep celebrity turned on just in case a later generation needs extra BlackOps.
I expect Azokka either to yell at everyone and totally dominate or else get out the popcorn.-Ombradellarosa

I wish there were more ways to gain celebrity points than befriending other celebs and waiting for opportunities.
